Is tonight the night someone becomes Idaho's biggest Lottery winner?

Idaho Cash has hit a record-breaking $877,800 jackpot. That's the largest prize in the game's history — more than double the previous record of $381,000 set back in 2021.

The draw happens tonight at 8 p.m. MT. And here's the kicker: tickets cost just $1 for two chances to win.

What makes this jackpot so big?

Idaho Cash is an Idaho-only game. The jackpot starts at $20,000 and rolls over every time no one matches all five numbers. This rolling jackpot has been building for weeks, and it's now reached a level never seen before in this game's history.

When a game stays local, the odds remain manageable. Your overall odds of winning any prize stand at 1 in 5.7. Compare that to multi-state games where you're competing against millions of players across the country.

How does Idaho Cash work?

The game is simple. Pick five numbers between 1 and 45. Don't want to choose? Ask for a quick pick and let the computer handle it.

Each $1 ticket gives you two separate plays. Two shots at the jackpot for a single dollar.

Draws happen daily at 8 p.m. MT. You can buy multi-draw tickets for up to 35 consecutive drawings if you want to play the same numbers multiple times.

What happens if someone wins tonight?

The jackpot pays out as a single lump-sum cash payment. No annuity. No waiting. Just one check for the full amount.

If multiple people match all five numbers, they split the prize equally. And if no one wins? The prize money rolls into tomorrow night's jackpot, pushing it even higher.

Where can you buy tickets?

Any Idaho Lottery retailer sells Idaho Cash tickets. You have until 8 p.m. MT tonight to get yours.

Remember: sign your ticket as soon as you buy it. An unsigned ticket belongs to whoever holds it. You have 180 days from the draw date to claim any prize.

Why play an Idaho-only game?

Idaho Cash launched in 2011, and daily draws began in 2021. Before tonight, the biggest prize anyone had won was $381,000. That record is about to be shattered.

Playing a state-only game means your money stays in Idaho. The Lottery funds Idaho public schools and buildings. Every ticket supports education in your community.

Could tonight be the night? For one dollar, you get two chances to find out.
