All Iowa Lottery claim centers are open by appointment only.
Winning tickets can be mailed or dropped off at the Clive Office dropbox. The Iowa Lottery is also offering curbside claims by appointment at all the offices.
Prizes up to $600 may still be claimed at Iowa Lottery retailers.
For prizes between $100 and $599 sign and fill out the back of the ticket, fill out the Prize Claim Form, the Federal Form W-9, and mail to the Iowa Lottery Headquarters. Keep a copy of all documents for your records.

The Iowa Lottery came about in April 1985, with the first tickets going on sale in August 1985. Iowa is a founding member of the Multi-State Lottery Association and began selling Lotto America tickets later in 1988.
In 1992, the state added Powerball to its portfolio, with Mega Millions following sometime later in 2010. Since its inception, the Iowa Lottery has made over $2 billion for various state initiatives. Ticket sale revenues go toward supporting projects under the supervision of the General Fund, supporting veterans, and Vision Iowa, which is an initiative that helps create tourist destinations.

It depends on the game. Players who win Lucky for Life, Powerball, Mega Millions, or Lotto America have 365 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. Pick 3 and Pick 4 winners have 90 days from the date of the draw.
