The Pennsylvania Lottery saw two lucky winners emerge over the weekend, with jackpots claimed in both the Match 6 Lotto and Treasure Hunt games.

Match 6 Lotto jackpot won in Wayne County

A winning Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $2.5 million was sold in Wayne County for the Saturday, May 4 drawing. The ticket matched all six winning numbers: 2-22-24-36-38-39. Weis Markets in Honesdale will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners remain anonymous until prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Players have one year to claim their prizes. Sign the back of winning tickets purchased at retailers, while online winnings appear automatically in your account after processing. Playing Match 6 Lotto

Tickets cost $2. Choose six numbers from 1 to 49 or opt for computer-generated selections. The computer then selects two additional sets of six numbers, creating three lines of six numbers each (18 numbers total). Players can win up to four times per ticket: once on each of the three lines and once by matching all 18 numbers. Match 6 Lotto is drawn daily, and tickets can be purchased up to 26 draws in advance.

Another big win: Treasure Hunt jackpot in Allegheny County

A Pennsylvania Lottery Treasure Hunt ticket sold for the Sunday, May 5 drawing matched all five winning balls: 10-13-16-23-24, winning $144,390. Giant Eagle in West Mifflin will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are unknown until claims are processed. Treasure Hunt winners have one year to claim prizes. Sign the back of winning tickets bought at retailers, while online winnings appear automatically in your account after processing.

Playing Treasure Hunt

Tickets cost $1. Select five numbers from 1 to 30, or choose quick picks. Match all five drawn numbers to win the jackpot. Prizes are also awarded for matching two, three, or four winning numbers. Treasure Hunt draws daily, and tickets can be purchased up to seven draws (one week) in advance. The jackpot odds are 1 in 142,506, while the overall odds of winning any prize are about 1 in 5.45.

The Pennsylvania Lottery is the only state lottery that directs all proceeds to programs benefiting older residents. Since its inception in 1972, it has contributed over $35.1 billion to support property tax and rent rebates, transportation, care services, prescription assistance, and local services like senior centers and meals. The Pennsylvania Lottery operates within the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
