What if two dollars could change your life? A Pennsylvania Lottery player just proved it's possible.

The winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket matched all five numbers in Thursday's drawing: 1-13-21-25-31. The prize? A massive $450,000 jackpot.

Where was the winning ticket sold?

One Hope Mart in Warminster struck gold. The convenience store at 287 York Road sold the jackpot-winning ticket. The retailer earned a $500 bonus for their lucky sale. But here's what matters most: over 13,000 other tickets won prizes in the same drawing. Your ticket could be worth money right now.

How do you claim your prize?

Winners have one full year to claim their Cash 5 jackpot prize. Quick Cash game prizes also expire one year from the purchase date. Hold a jackpot-winning ticket? Contact your nearest Lottery office immediately. You can also call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions.

Don't ignore smaller prizes either. Check every ticket at your local retailer. Those "losing" tickets might surprise you.

How does Cash 5 with Quick Cash work?

The game costs $2 per play. You get two chances to win with every ticket.

First, pick five numbers from 1 to 43 for the main Cash 5 game. You can choose your own numbers or let the computer pick for you. Match all five numbers to win the jackpot. Match two, three, or four numbers to win smaller prizes.

Second, every ticket includes one Quick Cash game. When your numbers match any winning number in that game, you win instantly. Quick Cash prizes are $2 or $6.

What are your odds?

Your chances of hitting the Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 962,598. The overall odds of winning any Cash 5 prize are about 1 in 10.5. Quick Cash games offer better odds. Your chances of winning are 1 in 4.71.

Where does Pennsylvania Lottery money go?

Pennsylvania directs every dollar of Lottery proceeds to programs for older residents. Since 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $36.2 billion to these programs. The money funds property tax rebates, rent assistance, transportation services, prescription help, and local senior centers. It also pays for meals and care services.

The bottom line

A $2 ticket just created a $450,000 winner in Bucks County. Thousands of other players won smaller prizes in the same drawing.

Your next ticket could be the one. But remember: you can't win if you don't play, and you can't collect if you don't check your numbers.
