Six jackpots and six chances at a life-changing number. This weekend, lottery players across the country have more than the usual reasons to check their tickets. Mega Millions and Powerball lead the pack, but three other games are quietly closing in on their own record books.
Here's where the money stands, and what's on the line when the balls drop.
Mega Millions closes in on rare territory
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Friday, 7/17, at 11 p.m. ET. The jackpot: an estimated $672 million, with a cash option of $293.3 million.
That number matters. A win at $672 million wouldn't just hand someone a fortune. It would push its way onto the game's all-time top 10 list.
So what happens Friday night? Does $672 million lock in as number 10, or does no winner emerge and the pot grows into something even bigger? We'll know at 11 p.m. ET.
Powerball's losing streak has a shot at ending
Powerball's next draw is tomorrow, July 18, at 10:59 p.m. ET. The jackpot sits at an estimated $526 million, with a cash value of $233.5 million.
The last winning ticket came on May 2, 2026, when a single player matched every number for a $20 million jackpot. Since then: 14 straight draws with no winner. Will that streak finally break this weekend?
Lotto America nears its third-biggest jackpot ever
Lotto America's estimated jackpot has climbed to $34.12 million, with a cash value of $15.14 million. That's on track to be one of the three largest jackpots in the game's history, and the fourth-biggest lottery jackpot in the country right now. The only bigger wins: $40.03 million in Iowa (2023) and $37.37 million in Tennessee (2025).
Massachusetts Megabucks: the biggest jackpot in 44 years
The Massachusetts Megabucks has never seen a jackpot this large. After another drawing passed without a winner, the estimated jackpot now stands at $23.8 million, with a cash value of nearly $15.79 million. The drawing closes tomorrow at 9 p.m. A win would top the game's previous record: $21.7 million, split among eight tickets back in 1985.
Hoosier Lotto pushes toward the top 10
Indiana's Hoosier Lotto jackpot has reached an estimated $29.3 million, with overall odds of 1 in 6. The next drawing is Saturday, July 18, around 11 p.m. ET. A win would rank among the game's biggest ever, behind past wins of $54.5 million (2007), $44 million (2023), and $42.5 million (2025).
Ohio Classic Lotto keeps building
Ohio's Classic Lotto jackpot has grown to an estimated $7.9 million, with drawings held Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday around 7:05 p.m. The game's record stands at $41.8 million (2011), followed by $39.3 million (2022). Most recently, it paid out $3.5 million in February 2026 to a Northeast Ohio man who'd played the same numbers for 22 years.
Jackpots are calling
Two multi-state games are chasing record territory. Three regional ones are quietly doing the same. Whatever your ticket of choice this weekend, the numbers are lining up for a night worth watching.
