Will Wednesday be the night LOTTO sets a new record? The jackpot sits at $2.352 million heading into the draw. That makes it the second-highest Arkansas LOTTO jackpot in the game's history. Only one prize has ever been bigger.
The jackpot hasn't been won since October 2025. Every draw since then has added to the pot. Now it's closing in on the all-time high.
What is LOTTO?
LOTTO is a draw game exclusive to Arkansas. It starts at a $250,000 jackpot and grows after every draw until someone wins it.
Here's how it works:
- Drawings happen every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. CST.
- Players pick six numbers from 1 to 40.
- Match all six to win the jackpot.
- Match five numbers plus the Bonus Number to win $25,000.
- Tickets cost $2 per play.
Ticket sales close at 8:59 p.m. CST on draw nights. You can buy tickets at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers or through mobile apps from Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) retailer partners. Players must be 18 or older.
The jackpot’s history so far
LOTTO has already made a few Arkansans very rich, with a Yell County resident holding the record. They claimed $5.123 million, the largest LOTTO jackpot ever won.
A Sebastian County woman was the first to ever win the LOTTO jackpot. She claimed $2.338 million from the April 29, 2023, drawing and chose to stay anonymous. Her prize now ranks third, just behind Wednesday's jackpot. A Garland County resident claimed $1.338 million. A Little Rock player won $999,000 from the September 13, 2023, drawing.
Since January, more than 180 LOTTO players have claimed prizes of over $500. Six of them walked away with $25,000 each.
Why this matters for Arkansas
LOTTO exists to give Arkansas players a shot at bigger prizes, and it feeds directly into the state's scholarship fund. Since 2009, ASL has sold more than $8.6 billion in tickets and returned over $1.6 billion for Arkansas student scholarships. More than 873,000 scholarships have gone out through the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
As of July 31, 2026, ASL has paid out more than $5.9 billion in prizes, delivered over $489 million in retailer commissions, and generated more than $461 million in state and federal tax revenue.
Intentional gameplay
A jackpot this close to a record draws attention, and that's the point. But every player needs to remember: play responsibly.
