Update: The ASL LOTTO continues to climb. The jackpot is now $2.848 million.

Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Executive Director Sharon Strong said:

This LOTTO jackpot far exceeds any other in the game's history. We're proud to have a draw game that benefits Arkansans.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) is celebrating a monumental LOTTO jackpot, which has soared to $2.805 million.

This record-breaking prize has been steadily climbing since the last jackpot was claimed by a Sebastian County resident of $2.338 million in May 2023.

Now, another lucky player has the chance to join this exclusive club.

ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong said:

This LOTTO jackpot is monumental for an Arkansas-exclusive draw game. It's exciting to know that, through the scholarships funded by lottery ticket sales, Arkansas students and players will both benefit.

What is LOTTO?

LOTTO is an Arkansas-only draw game designed to offer players the opportunity to win big prizes. For just $2, players select six numbers from 1 to 40. If those numbers match the six drawn, they win the jackpot. The excitement doesn't stop there. Players can also win prizes by matching five numbers plus the bonus ball or by matching three or more numbers.

Drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. CT, with ticket sales closing at 8:59 p.m. CT. The starting jackpot is an enticing $250,000, but the real allure lies in its potential for explosive growth.

Local Mega Millions winner

While the LOTTO jackpot is capturing headlines, ASL is also celebrating another lucky player. A Clarendon resident recently claimed a $40,000 Mega Millions prize after matching four white balls and the Megaball. The prize was boosted to $40,000 thanks to the Megaplier option.

We urge all players who played Mega Millions at this retailer location to check their tickets,” Strong said. “The winner has 180 days from the July 23 draw date to claim their prize.

The Mega Millions jackpot is currently at $306 million.

Supporting education and the community

Since 2009, ASL has made a significant impact on the state of Arkansas. Over $7.4 billion in ticket sales have generated more than $1.4 billion for scholarships benefiting Arkansas students. This investment in education has created a brighter future for countless young people.

Beyond scholarships, the ASL has distributed over $5 billion in prizes to lucky players, contributed $421 million to retailers, and generated $177 million in state and federal tax revenue. It's a win-win for players, retailers, and the community.

So, whether you're dreaming of becoming a LOTTO millionaire or hoping to hit it big with Mega Millions, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery offers excitement and the chance to make a difference.
