Lottery players have over $500 million worth of reasons to feel lucky heading into the weekend. With Powerball and Mega Millions both sitting above $200 million, players across the country have a shot at a massive payday. However, those aren’t the only jackpots worth watching. Several state lottery games have climbed into multimillion-dollar territory, including one from the California Lottery offering over $50 million. Plus, we have a brand new game from Powerball debuting this weekend! Check out some of the biggest lottery jackpots up for grabs this weekend.

Powerball: $232 million

The biggest jackpot available right now is the multi-state draw game Powerball, which enters Saturday night’s drawing with an estimated $232 million jackpot. The cash option is $100 million.

Nobody matched all six numbers in Wednesday’s drawing, in which the winning numbers were 9, 40, 42, 55, and 65, and the Powerball number was 23.

The last jackpot win for the Powerball draw game took place on August 12, when one lucky ticket in Illinois won the $1.04 billion jackpot. The jackpot reset to $20 million for the Saturday, August 15, drawing and has been growing ever since.

Mega Millions: $209 million

The weekend jackpot hunt starts tonight with the Mega Millions drawing, which currently sits at an estimated $209 million. The cash option for this multi-state draw game is $89.7 million.

Nobody matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, in which the winning numbers were 17, 30, 43, 58, and 66, and the Mega Ball was 20.

The last jackpot win for Mega Millions players took place on July 28, when one lucky ticket in Florida won the $800 million jackpot. The jackpot reset to $50 million for the Friday, July 31, drawing and has been growing ever since.

California leads state draw games

Players in California have a big jackpot they are chasing on Saturday.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot has reached an estimated $54 million, which easily makes it the biggest state lottery jackpot currently available in the country.

There’s a sizable gap after California. Here is a breakdown of the next biggest in-state lottery game jackpots:

  • Florida Lotto – Estimated $8.75 million.
  • Pick-6 in New Jersey – Estimated $7.1 million.
  • New York Lotto – Estimated $6.6 million.
  • Lotto Texas – Estimated $5.5 million.
  • Lotto in Illinois – Estimated $4.55 million.
  • Lotto America – Estimated $4.16 million.
  • LOTTO in Arkansas – Estimated $2.52 million, the second-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

Powerball Xs & Os kicks off on Sunday

This weekend also introduces players to a brand new game. Powerball X’s & O’s will hold its first drawing on Sunday, September 13.

This new multi-state draw game gives players their first chance to win the game’s progressive jackpot on Sunday, which starts at $1 million.

Instead of picking traditional lottery numbers, this $5 draw game allows players to select eight NFL team logos from the league’s 32 teams. To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all eight teams drawn. If no tickets match all eight teams, the jackpot rolls over until it happens.

In addition, there are other prizes available, along with chances to win NFL-related experiences, including a trip to the Super Bowl.

Drawings will take place every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, making Powerball X’s & O’s another lottery jackpot to watch as the weekend comes to a close.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
