The Arizona Lottery must be feeling generous this March, as they announced the Jackpot Boost bonus. This bonus added $7.5 million more in prizes for three of the state's draw games — The Pick, Triple Twist, and Fantasy 5.

So, which one will you be playing?

How does the Jackpot Boost bonus work?

For the Jackpot Boost, the Arizona Lottery added $7.5 million in prizes to these Arizona draw games: The Pick, Fantasy 5, and Triple Twist.

Starting with drawings on March 20, 2024, the Jackpot Boost was a one-time occurrence for Arizona Lottery draw games. With this Jackpot Boost, $7.5 million in additional prizes were spread across Fantasy 5, The Pick, and Triple Twist.

Once the jackpot hits for an individual game, the individual game's jackpot will reset, and the Jackpot Boost will no longer be available for that individual game. However, it will still be available for the remaining draw games until their jackpots are hit with the Jackpot Boost in play.

Fantasy 5 — Jackpot Boost has been won

The first jackpot has been won under the Jackpot Boost. With the Fantasy 5 drawing that took place on Sunday, March 24, one lucky winner matched all five numbers. The numbers for that March 24 drawing were 17, 26, 27, 36, and 37.

For matching all five numbers, the winner will get $602,000 with the Jackpot Boost. Since this jackpot was won, it reset back to $50,000, and the Jackpot Boost is complete for Fantasy 5. However, the Jackpot Boost remains active for The Pick and Triple Twist.

The Pick — how does it work?

For The Pick, the drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 7:04 p.m. MT. Each play costs $1, and you need to pick six numbers from 1 to 44 or get random numbers picked for you with a Quick Pick. You can choose the EXTRA! option for $1 or $2 more, which gives you a shot at instant prizes.

The EXTRA! option, it gives you five additional numbers. If you match any of them with your Pick numbers, you win the prize shown. Also, about one in 10 tickets are doublers. If you get one, any non-jackpot prize you win —not including EXTRA! prizes — are doubled in value.

To win on The Pick, you need to match at least three numbers. There are four prize levels available, ranging from $3 to the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $1 million and grows based on sales in increments of $100,000.

Triple Twist — how does it work?

Triple Twist is a daily draw game in Arizona held every night at 7:00 p.m. MT. To play, you select six numbers from 1 to 42, or you can get a computer-generated selection by using Quick Pick. You automatically get two additional lines of six numbers, for a total of three on your pay slip, which costs $2.

To win, you need to match at least three numbers on a single line. Across all three lines, you need to match at least five numbers. To win the jackpot, you need to match all six numbers in a single row to the winning numbers.

The jackpot starts at $200,000 and grows with each draw until someone wins. There are 10 ways to win, and you can win up to four times in a single play. The prizes range from $2 up to the jackpot.

Enjoy playing the Arizona Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
