From $10M in Canton to $1M wins downstate, millions in New York Lottery prizes were claimed.

It's been a banner week for New York Lottery scratch-off players, with millions in winnings claimed and a massive $10 million jackpot leading the charge. From the quiet streets of Canton to the hustle of Brooklyn and the neighborhoods of Long Island, lucky tickets have been transforming everyday errands into life-changing moments.

Gas stations, corner stores, and convenience stops all played host to fortune this week, but which games paid out, who claimed the cash, and which jackpots are still up for grabs?

$10 million prize claimed

Things kick off in Canton, as Daniel Durham tried his luck playing the $10,000,000 Bonus scratch-off game from the New York Lottery. Durham purchased the $30 ticket at Stewart's Shops, located at 115 East Main St. in Canton.

He ended up winning the top prize of $10 million. Durham recently made his way to lottery headquarters to claim his prize. He opted to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $6.47 million after the required withholdings.

After Durham claimed his $10 million prize, all of the top prizes for the $10,000,000 Bonus scratch-off game have now been claimed. The game will now end, but lottery officials said any valid lower-tier prizes on this ticket may be claimed until May 7, 2026.

Another ticket is closing down

It looks like these lucky winners are claiming the final top prize and closing down the ticket sales.

Now we have Alfredo Cruz, who claimed a $1 million top prize on the $1,000,000 Grande scratch-off game from the New York Lottery. The Brooklyn native purchased the $5 winning ticket at Salahi Deli Grocery, located at 1224 Cortelyou Rd. in Brooklyn.

Cruz made his way to lottery headquarters to claim his prize, and he opted for a single lump sum payment, which totaled $422,447 after the required withholdings.

With Cruz claiming this $1 million prize, all of the top prizes for the $1,000,000 Grande scratch-off game have been claimed. Ticket sales will end, and any valid lower-tier prizes on this ticket will need to be claimed before May 27, 2026.

Third big winner

We have another $1 million winner from the New York Lottery. This time it was Gus Anastasiadis of Deer Park. Anastasiadis claimed his $1 million top prize from the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game from the New York Lottery. He purchased the $20 winning ticket at Trakia (Sunoco), located at 765 Deer Park Ave. in Dix Hills.

He recently made his way to lottery headquarters to claim his prize. Anastasiadis opted for the single, lump sum payment, which totaled $651,006 after the required withholdings.

This wasn't the last top prize available for the Millionaire Maker game. After Anastasiadis claimed his prize, there are now five $1 million prizes remaining on this scratch-off game.

These three lucky players all took a simple lottery purchase and turned it into million-dollar wins. Maybe you can do it next?
