Two Pennsylvania lottery players win big online!

Big wins are being celebrated in Pennsylvania after two lucky lottery players scored large prizes on online tickets.

Mega Millions ticket brings home $1 million

There's a new millionaire in Pennsylvania! A lucky player from Berks County scored $1 million on a Mega Millions ticket purchased online for the June 11 drawing. The winning ticket matched all five white balls (1-5-7-22-24) but missed the yellow Mega Ball (8).

Claim your prize

Remember, winners are only official after claiming their prize and getting their ticket validated. You have one year from the drawing date to claim your Mega Millions winnings. If you bought your ticket online, the prize will automatically appear in your account after processing.

Over 19,000 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes in the June 11 drawing, including those with the Megaplier option. Don't forget to check your tickets!

The Mega Millions jackpot keeps growing and now sits at an estimated $47 million annuity value ($21.8 million cash) for the next drawing on Friday, June 14.

Powerball Player wins $100,000

Another lucky online player from Philadelphia struck it rich with a Powerball ticket purchased for the June 12 drawing. Their ticket matched four white balls (19-30-31-61-62) and the red Powerball (21), winning them $100,000 (less withholding).

The lucky winner doubled their prize thanks to the $1 Power Play option, which multiplied their winnings by two.

Similar to Mega Millions, Powerball winners need to claim their prize and get their ticket validated. The deadline to claim is one year from the drawing date. Winning tickets purchased online are automatically credited to the player's account after processing.

Over 19,000 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes in the June 12 drawing, including those with Power Play and Double Play options. Check your tickets!

The Powerball jackpot keeps rolling and now has an estimated value of $34 million ($16 million cash) for the next drawing on Saturday, June 15.

A history of winning online

Pennsylvania has been at the forefront of online lottery gaming in the US. Here's a look back at some key milestones:

  • May 22, 2018: PA iLottery launches, allowing players 18 and older to play Lottery games online for prizes up to $250,000. Pennsylvania becomes the seventh state to offer online lottery games.
  • January 16, 2020: The Pennsylvania Lottery expands its online offerings to include Powerball and Mega Millions tickets.
  • October 26, 2022: A player from Centre County wins a record-breaking $1,616,808.72 on the online game PA Big Winner Spectacular, marking the largest online lottery prize ever awarded in the US at the time.
