Almost $5 million was up for grabs last night in the New Jersey Lottery Pick-6 game, and two lucky tickets walked away, splitting that jackpot.

The winning tickets

The two winning tickets in Morris County matched all six numbers drawn for the Monday, May 13, Pick-6 drawing. The winning numbers for the drawing were 2, 3, 4, 12, 20, and 26.

The winning tickets were both purchased at Mill Lane Tavern, located at 8 Mill Lane in Rockaway. For selling the winning tickets, the lucky retailer will receive two $10,000 bonuses, one for selling each winning ticket.

In a statement, Executive Director James Carey said:

Congratulations to our latest Pick-6 winners! Pick-6 jackpots are always exciting for us, and it is rare to see two jackpot-winning tickets sold at the same store.

Doubling down or two separate winners?

Until the winner or winners come forward and claim their prize, we have to wonder if it was one player feeling lucky with their numbers and doubling down for last night's drawing or if it was two separate players winning after purchasing the tickets from the same store.

Carey said:

This could be one lucky player that decided to double down on their ticket or two separate players with shared luck at the same store. Many players feel lucky with family birthdays, anniversaries, and other days on the calendar.

More winners crowned

Carey said when all the numbers come in under 30, as they did in last night's Pick-6 drawing, they expect a lot of winners, and that is what happened. Not only did they have two jackpot winners, but they also had 18 other players that matched five out of the six numbers, with 12 of those multiplying their prizes from $766 to $3.064.

Now that the jackpot was won last night, the Pick-6 jackpot reset to $2 million for the next drawing, which will take place on Thursday, May 16.

Other New Jersey Lottery draw game winners

The New Jersey Lottery also announced they had five players win draw game prizes of $10,000 or more for the week of May 6, 2024, through May 12, 2024. Those players took home the following prizes:
