Attention, South Dakota Lottery players! Two new instant-win games have arrived this month, offering exciting prizes and a fresh format.

New games, new chances to win

These games offer something for everyone, with prices ranging from $3 to $5 and a total prize pool exceeding $65,000. And for one scratch-off, there's even a fresh twist on gameplay. Here are the two new games offered to South Dakota lottery players.

Fast Cash

The $5 instant-win game is your shot at a $40,000 grand prize. To play, simply match any of your numbers on the ticket to the winning numbers revealed. If you find a "MONEYBAG" symbol, your prize gets a 10x multiplier and you’ll win big! The prize ranges for this game are $5, $10, $15, $20, $30, $50, $100, $400, and $40,000.

Block-O

Play this game and aim for the $25,000 top prize. In addition to being the South Dakota Lottery’s newest $3 instant-win game, Block-O offers a brand-new format. To play, scratch your "YOUR BLOCK NUMBERS" area to reveal your hidden numbers. Then, match these numbers to the corresponding numbers in the "BLOCK GRID." Scratch the "FREE" spots for additional winning chances. If you manage to match all the numbers surrounding a prize block in the grid, you win the prize shown in that block. The prize ranges for this game are $3, $5, $10, $15, $20, $30, $50, $100, $500, $1,500, and $25,000.

More games, more fun

If you’re not a fan of these new releases, no worries. There are other ways to participate and win. South Dakota offers dozens of scratch-off games with prices from $1 to $30 and prizes reaching $550,000. Popular choices amongst South Dakota lottery players include:

  • Black & Gold
  • Bingo Night
  • 100X
  • Multiply Your Money
  • Ultimate VIP Cashword

More ways to win with the South Dakota lottery

Looking for something different? The South Dakota Lottery offers a variety of draw games beyond instant-win scratch-offs. Try your luck with:

  • Dakota Cash: In-state jackpot with drawings every Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Powerball: Multi-state game with giant jackpots every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
  • Mega Millions: Multi-state game with massive jackpots every Tuesday and Friday.
  • Lotto America: Multi-state game with sizable jackpots every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

These draw games offer exciting ways to win big, so choose numbers that suit you. Pick from anniversaries, birthdays, addresses, or whatever resonates with you, and see if you're a lucky winner. Every lotto ticket comes with the potential for good fun.

Giving back to South Dakota

The South Dakota Lottery does more than create winners. On average, it returns $495,000 daily to the state, benefiting schools, natural resources, and more. Last year alone, over $181 million went directly back to South Dakota – that's nearly 95 cents of every dollar earned.

Enjoy playing the South Dakota Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
