November was a big month for scratch-off lottery players in the Keystone State. The Pennsylvania State Lottery paid out $176,918,940 in prizes for the month, including three jackpot tickets worth one million each.

Big winners

Players uncovered two tickets worth $1,000,000 in November. The month's lucky games were $1 Million Money Tree and Millionaire Bucks.

To win Money Tree, players need to match one of their twenty numbers to one of seven winning numbers. Players have to uncover three TREE symbols to multiply their winning total by twenty and take home the big jackpot.

While the game has already paid out its top prize twice, three one-million-dollar prizes are still available to gamers who want to pay up for the $20 ticket.

Millionaire Bucks was the other scratcher to pay out a million-dollar fortune. Winning players have to match one of their twenty numbers to one of the seven winning numbers to win the corresponding prize. To claim the jackpot, players need to find a 10X symbol that multiplies their prize by ten.

Four of the five million dollar prizes have already been claimed, so there’s still a chance to be one of the $20 game’s big winners.

The winning tickets were purchased at Pantry 1 Food Mart in Bethlehem and the Convenient Food Mart in Pittston. Each retailer earned $5,000 for selling a ticket worth one million dollars.

Six figure winners

You don’t have to take home a million-dollar check to feel like a big winner.

Twenty-two players enjoyed a six-figure jackpot, including six tickets cashed in for $500,000, three that won $300,000, six earned $250,000, seven won $200,000, one took home $150,000, and three worth $100,000.

Five Million Fabulous Fortune paid out half a million dollars twice. To take home a prize, Players have to match one of their thirty numbers to one of eight winning numbers. Uncovering a FORTUNE symbol will multiply your win by one hundred.

While $500,000 will make anyone happy, the game still has three $5,000,000 prizes to pay out, but at $50 a play, it is one of the Pennsylvania lottery’s most expensive scratch-off tickets.

However, with a total prize pool of over $319 million, Five Million Fabulous Fortune had more $1,000+ winners than any other Pennsylvania scratch-off game in the month of November.

Worth knowing

Pennsylvania currently offers 58 different scratch-off games to play, with prizes ranging from a free ticket to a $5 million jackpot.

Several tickets offer second-chance opportunities if you don’t win on your first try. Players can receive one entry in a consolation drawing for every dollar spent on a submitted, non-winning ticket.

All proceeds from the Pennsylvania State Lottery go towards the benefit of older residents. The lottery has contributed more than $35.1 billion to fund tax relief and other services and benefits since sales began in 1971.
