Michigan Lottery players, get ready to double down on excitement. A twist has just been added to one of the state's most anticipated games of the year, giving Super Raffle ticket holders an unexpected new way to score some serious cash, before the main drawing even happens. With thousands already eyeing the record-breaking jackpot, there's now an extra incentive to grab those tickets and open up the Michigan Lottery app.

New bonus drawings added

The Michigan Lottery made a special announcement today, as they will be giving Super Raffle players a shot at winning an additional $100,000 in prizes with brand new Super Raffle Bonus Drawings. Michigan Lottery players can start earning entries into the bonus drawings beginning August 4. Players will need to scan their Super Raffle tickets using the Michigan Lottery mobile app ticket scanner.

Players can earn one entry per Super Raffle ticket scanned. Lottery officials will hold weekly drawings starting on August 13, and each drawing will award one $25,000 prize.

Entry periods and drawing dates

The Michigan Lottery will be making four weekly drawings for a chance to win $25,000 each time. The drawing dates and entry period times are below:

  • August 13, 2025: The entry period for this drawing is between midnight EST on August 4 through 11:59 p.m. EST on August 10.
  • August 20, 2025: The entry period for this drawing is between midnight EST on August 11 through 11:59 p.m. EST on August 17.
  • August 27, 2025: The entry period for this drawing is between midnight EST on August 18 through 11:59 p.m. EST on August 24.
  • September 3, 2025: The entry period for this drawing is between midnight EST on August 25 through 11:59 p.m. EST on August 31.

While there are four weekly drawings taking place, lottery officials said players may enter their Super Raffle tickets during any entry period. However, each ticket is only eligible for one Bonus Drawing.

All Super Raffle tickets purchased and scanned in the Michigan Lottery mobile app by August 31 will be eligible for a Bonus Drawing. A ticket, however, cannot be scanned and used to earn entries into more than one Bonus Drawing.

Final Super Raffle drawing

These bonus drawings are separate from the final Super Raffle drawing. Once players scan their Super Raffle tickets for entry into a bonus drawing, lottery officials said they should still hold onto their tickets for the final Super Raffle drawing, which is scheduled to take place on or after September 8.

If you happen to be one of the lucky $25,000 winners, you will be contacted by the Lottery's Player Relations team with instructions on how to claim your prize. Winners of the Super Raffle Bonus Drawing prizes will have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

If you don't win one of the $25,000 bonus prizes, you still are eligible to win the biggest raffle prize in the state's history. The breakdown of prizes for this raffle is:

  • $6 million (1 winner)
  • $1 million (2 winners)
  • $100,000 (12 winners)
  • $500 (3,500 winners)
  • $100 (15,000 winners)

Enjoy playing the Michigan Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
