Someone in New Jersey just had their financial future secured!

A lucky ticket sold at Jackpocket on Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, Passaic County, matched the five white balls in the April 18th CASH4LIFE drawing, winning the lucrative prize of $1,000 a week for life.

The New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said:

We're excited to award this lucky player with a $1,000 a week for life prize, and can't wait to hear how this will benefit them in the years to come.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 5, 36, 38, 45, and 59. The Cash Ball was 1.

A chance to win big with CASH4LIFE

To play, simply choose five numbers from 1 to 60 and one Cash Ball number from 1 to 4. Don't want to pick your own numbers? No problem! Ask your retailer for a "Quick Pick" or mark the "Quick Pick" circle on the play slip, and the lottery computer will randomly select your numbers for you.

Want to boost your potential winnings? Add DOUBLER for an extra $1 per play. DOUBLER doubles your prizes from $2 to $2,500, giving you even more chances to walk away a winner (except for the top jackpot prizes).

Remember, tickets must be purchased before 8:46 pm for that night's drawing, which takes place daily at 9:00 pm.

Here's a quick rundown of how to fill out a play slip:

  1. Each play costs $2.
  2. Pick five numbers (1-60) and one Cash Ball number (1-4).
  3. Mark the "Quick Pick" circle if you want random numbers.
  4. Choose how you want your top prizes paid (Annuity or Cash Option).
  5. Add DOUBLER (optional) for $1 to double your non-jackpot prizes.
  6. Pick Multi Draw (optional) to play the same numbers for up to 28 drawings.
  7. Give your play slip to the retailer. Sales are final.

Funding the future

The New Jersey Lottery is a major source of funding for the state, generating over $1 billion for the fifth year in a row! This is how ticket purchases contribute:

  • Stronger Pensions: Lottery funds help bolster the state pension fund, supporting a secure retirement for teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other public employees who dedicate their lives to our communities.
  • Investing in Jersey: Over $32 billion has been contributed to the state overall, funding vital programs and infrastructure projects that benefit everyone in New Jersey.

The New Jersey Lottery has been creating millionaires and fulfilling dreams since 1970. While winning big with CASH4LIFE could be life-changing, some winners prefer privacy. In New Jersey, you can choose to remain anonymous to the public while still claiming your prize. Just remember, you'll need to provide proper identification for official records.
