Lucky for Life has been lucky for Michigan Lottery players in 2024, but they decided to share that luck with their friends down in Ohio last night!

Ohio takes the big prize

One lucky player in Ohio ended up matching all the winning numbers in the September 23, 2024, Lucky for Life drawing. In doing so, they won the top prize for that game, which is $1,000 a day for life!

The winning white ball numbers for last night's drawing were 1, 21, 24, 27, and 48, and the Lucky Ball was 18. The lucky winner purchased the winning ticket at Obetz Shell, located at 4425 Alum Creek Drive in Columbus.

When the big winner comes forward to claim their prize, they will have to make a big decision: choose the annuity prize of $365,000 a year for life or a one-time lump sum payment of $5.75 million.

Michigan wins big for the second night in a row

For the second straight drawing and the 12th time this year, a Michigan Lottery player won a lifetime of cash playing Lucky for Life!

While the 11th winner of 2024 came during the Sunday night drawing, that number grew the very next night when one lucky player won $25,000 a year for life.

One lucky ticket in Michigan matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn during the September 23 drawing to win the big prize. The winning ticket was purchased at Ernie's Beer and Wine, located at 13167 North Saginaw Road in Clio.

With the big win, the winner can choose to receive their winnings as annual $25,000 payments for a minimum of 20 years or life, whichever is greater, or they can get a one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000.
