Michigan Lottery players have had plenty of reasons to celebrate while playing Lucky for Life in 2024, as lottery officials announced the 11th player of the year to win a lifetime of cash!

11 big winners in 2024

If you live in Michigan and are looking for a lottery game that might bring you some luck, it looks like Lucky for Life might be the answer!

For the 11th time in 2024, a lucky player from Michigan won a lifetime of cash after winning $25,000 a year for life playing the Lucky for Life draw game.

The latest win came during the Sunday, September 22, drawing. The five white balls for that drawing were 5, 13, 27, 35, and 48, and the Lucky Ball was 14.

The winning ticket matched all five of the winning white balls to win the big prize. The lucky winner purchased the winning ticket from Sunshine Liquor Shop, located at 27342 Joy Road in Redford.

A year of big wins in Michigan

As stated, this lucky winner makes number 11 for players who have won lifetime prizes playing Lucky for Life. Check out the previous ten lucky winners here:

  • June 30 - Winning ticket purchased at Hartland AC Holdings LLC, located at 10440 Highland Road in Hartland. The prize was claimed by a Fenton man.
  • May 16 - Winning ticket purchased at the Shell gas station, located at 11541 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Claimed by a Sterling Heights woman.
  • April 29 - Winning ticket purchased at Morning Fresh Bakeries, located at 3223 North Adrian Highway in Adrian. The prize was claimed by a Lenawee County woman.
  • April 19 - Winning ticket purchased at Hub Sports Bistro, located at 16780 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township, and claimed by a Macomb man.
  • April 17 - Winning ticket purchased online at the Michigan Lottery website and claimed by a woman in Detroit.
  • March 26 - Winning ticket purchased at Merriman Drugs, located at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia. This prize has yet to be claimed.
  • March 25 - Winning ticket purchased online at the Michigan Lottery website and claimed by a Flushing man.
  • March 23 - Winning ticket purchased at the Value Center Market, located at 27428 6 Mile Road in Livonia, and claimed by a Redford Township woman.
  • March 12 - Winning ticket purchased online at the Michigan Lottery website and claimed by a woman in Escanaba.
  • February 20 - Winning ticket purchased at Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant, and claimed by a Flushing woman.

These lucky winners, when claiming their big prize, have two options available. They can take the annual payments of $25,000 for life, with a minimum of 20 years, or they can take a one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000.

Lucky for Life tickets cost $2 per play, and drawings are held every night at 10:38 p.m. ET.
