Ho ho ho! 'Tis the season for new games

For many lottery players, the holiday season brings the excitement of new holiday scratch-off tickets, but when do these new tickets debut in your state? Find out some of those launch dates below!

Four new ticket options in California

The California State Lottery is giving players four new ticket options this holiday season. These tickets are:

  • A $1 ticket called Merry Wishes which gives players the chance to win up to $5,000
  • A $5 ticket called Peppermint Payout which gives players the chance to win up to $250,000
  • A $10 ticket called Winter Magic Multiplier which gives players the chance to win up to $1 million
  • A $25 ticket called 2025 which gives players the chance to win up to $7.5 million

These tickets are already available at any California Lottery retailer.

Big money available in Florida this holiday season

The new holiday-themed scratch-off tickets will be in stock and available at all Florida Lottery retailers within the next 48 hours.

These new scratch-off tickets include The Perfect Gift and Holiday Blowout. The lottery is offering over 20 million winning tickets and a chance to win up to $5 million!

In addition to the fun new tickets, the Florida Lottery is giving players the chance to enter any non-winning Holiday Blowout and The Perfect Gift tickets, as well as any PICK Daily Games tickets of $1 or more purchased between October 28, 2024, through January 12, 2025. Each entry gives players the chance to win cash prizes of up to $20,000 and over $4.5 million in instant cash coupons.

Georgia gets an early start

Halloween isn't even done and over yet, but the Georgia Lottery has already launched its new holiday instant tickets.

For this new holiday season, Georgia is giving its players six new options for instant magic. These tickets include:

  • A $2 ticket called $100 Festive Frenzy which gives players the chance to win up to $20,000
  • A $3 ticket called Happy Holidays which gives players the chance to win up to $150,000
  • A $5 ticket called $500 Festive Frenzy, with over $5.7 million available to win in $500 prizes
  • A $10 ticket called Holiday Jumbo Bucks 50X which gives players the chance to win up to $750,000
  • A $20 ticket called Holiday Jumbo Bucks 100X which gives players the chance to win up to $1.5 million
  • A $30 ticket called $3,000 Festive Frenzy which gives players the chance to win up to $3 million

All of these tickets launched on October 15, 2024, and are available at any lottery retailer in the state.

Georgia also offers a Holiday 2nd Chance Promotion for any non-winning holiday instant tickets. Players can enter these non-winning tickets for a chance to win cash prizes of either $500 or $5,000.

Michigan Lottery is trying to relieve some of that holiday stress

We can all get stressed out during the holiday season, but the Michigan Lottery wants you to celebrate this holiday season with its four new holiday-themed instant games.

The four new tickets are available for purchase starting today at all Michigan Lottery retailers. These new tickets include:

  • A $1 ticket called Gift Tag Greetings which gives players the chance to win up to $500
  • A $2 ticket called Season's Greetings which gives players the chance to win up to $10,000
  • A $5 ticket called Make It Rein which gives players the chance to win up to $300,000
  • A $10 ticket called The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year which gives players the chance to win up to $500,000

Deck the halls with lots of wins in South Carolina

The holiday winning has already begun for South Carolina Lottery players. These holiday-themed tickets were available for purchase starting on October 1, 2024.

Lottery officials released four new holiday tickets this season, which include:

  • A $1 ticket called Winter Green which gives players the chance to win up to $5,000
  • A $2 ticket called Holiday Wishes which gives players the chance to win up to $30,000
  • A $5 ticket called Golden Rings which gives players the chance to win up to $200,000
  • A $10 ticket called Shimmering Riches which gives players the chance to win up to $500,000
