Lottery players have every reason to be excited this weekend. With Powerball and Mega Millions combining for more than $1 billion in jackpots, there's some serious money waiting to be won. It’s not just the multi-state draw games offering up big prizes either.

There are several state lottery games that have jackpots worth millions, which gives players even more chances to dream about what they’d do with a life-changing win. From California to Arkansas, here's a look at the biggest jackpots heading into the weekend.

Powerball and Mega Millions lead the way

They are the two biggest names in the lottery, and they are once again stealing the spotlight.

The Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots have officially crossed into the $1 billion territory combined. Currently, the Powerball jackpot sits at an estimated $600 million, with a cash option of $246 million. The Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $403 million, with a cash option of $162.1 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing takes place tonight, October 16. The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday, October 17. Will this finally be the weekend someone matches all the numbers, or will the jackpots keep climbing?

California's SuperLotto Plus reaches $64 million

Yes, the national games are grabbing headlines. However, the California Lottery has a massive jackpot of its own.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot has climbed to an impressive $64 million, making it the largest state lottery prize currently available.

For this in-state draw game, tickets cost just $1 per play. The next drawing takes place on Saturday night. That means California players have another shot at becoming a multimillionaire without even having to play one of the national games.

New Jersey and New York have millions waiting

We have jackpot excitement brewing in the Northeast, also.

In New Jersey, the Pick-6 jackpot has climbed to $14 million. That's a pretty nice payday for a game that costs just $2 per play.

Meanwhile, New York LOTTO players are chasing a $10.7 million jackpot.

Both prizes would be more than enough to make someone's weekend unforgettable. Both drawings will be held on Saturday night.

Texas and Arkansas jackpots keep growing

The South is joining in on the lottery jackpot fun, as two state lotteries have been waiting for someone to hit the jackpot.

Texas Lotto has climbed to $9.5 million, putting it within striking distance of the $10 million milestone.

Meanwhile, Arkansas LOTTO continues its search for a jackpot winner. The jackpot has now climbed to $2.83 million, which is the second-largest jackpot in the draw game’s history.

Will the billion-dollar excitement continue?

With more than $1 billion combined in Powerball and Mega Millions prizes, plus another $101 million across these five state games, lottery players have plenty to watch this weekend.

Whether someone finally hits one of the big jackpots or the prizes roll over again, one thing is certain: The lottery excitement isn't slowing down.

Players should remember that jackpot amounts can change as drawings take place. Check the latest results and prize totals at Lottery USA, and remember to play responsibly.
