Wyoming Lottery players are getting ready for a Keno power surge this December. If you’re a big fan of Keno’s rapid-paced play, you will love getting free extra plays for a limited time in December in the Cowboy State.

On Freebie Fridays from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., you can buy $5 worth of Keno tickets and get one $2, 4-spot ticket for free. If you buy $20 of Keno, you will get four $2 4-spot tickets for free, and so on. Make the most of Free Keno Fridays while this promotion lasts.

How to play Keno

Keno offers multiple ways to play, and you can win prizes from $1 to $1 million. Drawings happen every 4 minutes from 5:04 a.m. to 1:56 a.m.

To play you will need a Keno play slip that has the number of spots (numbers) that you want to play for each game. You can choose to play one number or multiple spots up to 10. How much you wager on each game is entirely up to you. You can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20. The more you wager, the more you stand to win.

Next, select how many games in a row you wish to play. For example, you can play a series of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 20 games. You can select numbers between 1 and 80 or select a Quick Pick and a computer will randomly generate your numbers for you. You must pick a range of numbers equal to the number of spots you originally selected to play. For example, if you chose 6 spots in section one of your play slip, you must select six numbers in section 4 of your play slip.

If you decide to go with a Quick Pick, let your retailer know how many numbers you want in each game, how much you want to wager for each game, and how many games you want to play.

Bonus Multiplier options

If you want a chance to win a bigger prize, you can opt for the Bonus Multiplier (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10), which doubles the total ticket price and will multiply any prize you win with the Bonus Multiplier number you selected for that game. Regardless of how much you wager on a Bonus Multiplier game, the maximum amount you can win is $1 million.

You can win a Keno prize when all or some of your spots are matched by the computer. You may even win if none of your numbers are drawn if you are playing 9-spot and 10-spot games.

You can easily play the same numbers again by requesting a replay from your Keno retailer. Alternatively, you can purchase multiple Keno tickets up to 20 draws in advance.

Once your Keno ticket has been printed you cannot cancel it. Check it carefully after purchasing it to make sure it is what you asked for.
