Pennsylvania's Cash 5 with Quick Cash lottery is making headlines. The first week of July saw a lucky winner from Clarion County walk away with a large jackpot.

Clarion County ticket wins $455,172 Cash 5 jackpot

Imagine the surprise! A ticket purchased at Tom's Riverside in New Bethlehem, Clarion County, matched all five winning numbers (7-17-18-21-31) drawn on Saturday, July 6th. This lucky winner now holds $455,172 after withholding.

The lucky retailer, Tom's Riverside in New Bethlehem, also won a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Claiming your Prize: Don't miss out!

Pennsylvania Lottery reminds all winners that prizes can only be claimed after tickets are validated. Don't let this windfall slip away! You have one year from the drawing date to claim your Cash 5 prize and one year from the purchase date for any Quick Cash winnings.

If you're the lucky Clarion County winner (or know them!), contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 as soon as possible for instructions on claiming your prize.

Are you feeling inspired to play? Here's a quick guide to playing Cash 5 with Quick Cash:

  • Pick your lucky five numbers from 1 to 43.
  • Feeling indecisive? Opt for a quick pick and let the system choose your numbers.
  • Match all five drawn numbers to win the jackpot. Don't worry; prizes are also awarded for matching two, three, or four winning numbers.
  • Each $2 ticket packs a double punch. It includes the main Cash 5 drawing and a bonus Quick Cash game with a chance to instantly win $2 or $6.

More winners and Pennsylvania Lottery fun

While Clarion County takes center stage this time, July was a winning month across Pennsylvania. Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawings produced thousands of winning tickets throughout the state. Don't forget, it doesn't hurt to check your tickets regularly! You can claim lower-tier prizes at any lottery retailer.

  • Another lucky Cash 5 player in Allegheny County won a $150,000 jackpot on July 7th. The winning ticket was sold at Giant Eagle in West Mifflin.
  • A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Allegheny County also sold a winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 for the July 6th drawing. One Stop on Boulevard of the Allies in Pittsburgh sold the ticket.

Play responsibly and support a good cause

The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages everyone to play responsibly. But here's an extra feel-good factor: every Pennsylvania Lottery ticket contributes to a worthy cause. All Lottery proceeds go towards programs that benefit the state's senior residents. Since 1972, the state lottery has contributed over $35.1 billion to support Pennsylvania's older adults.

You can play for a chance to win big and feel good knowing you're giving back to the community!
