The California Lottery has named Pollard Banknote as the primary contractor for scratch-off tickets in the state, along with other related services.

The terms of the contract state it is initially for six years with the option to extend it up to six additional years. With Pollard Banknote being the primary contractor, they will be providing about 70% of the state lottery's scratchers games during the life of the contract.

Along with supplying games, Pollard Banknote will deliver retail programs and portfolio strategies designed to boost lottery sales and support long-term growth.

Pollard Banknote isn't new to the California Lottery. They have been working with the state lottery for the past 25 years as a secondary supplier, providing instant tickets and related marketing services. Beginning December 1, they'll take over as the primary contractor.
