Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) players are celebrating after three lucky winners claimed big prizes recently. Two winners struck gold with instant games, while another claimed a large sum through the Play It Again drawing.

Instant game winners

P. Lewis of Little Rock scratched her way to a life-changing $300,000 prize by playing the $10 Big X instant game. A regular lottery player, Lewis felt an urge to buy a ticket after church. That impulse paid off!

After initially dismissing the first two tickets, Lewis discovered the top prize hiding on the very last row of the third ticket. She plans to use her winnings to buy a house and a new car and support her granddaughter.

Another Arkansan, R. Penaloza of Stuttgart, found a winning $200,000 ticket tucked within a family bundle of scratch-offs purchased by her husband. Playing lottery games a few times a week, Penaloza couldn't believe her eyes when she scratched off the winning Jumbo Bucks Extra ticket.

“I cried, and he cried. I just couldn’t believe it,” Penaloza told the ASL.

Penaloza's dream of owning a new home is now within reach.

Play It Again pays off

V. Grandy of Pine Bluff was surprised to find out good news when she received a call from the ASL. An occasional player, Grandy initially disregarded a notification about a win, thinking it was a scam. Thankfully, she decided to investigate further and discovered she'd won an incredible $250,000 prize from the February 29 Play It Again drawing, thanks to her $5 Ultimate 7's ticket. Grandy, overwhelmed with joy, shared the news with her family and plans to use the money to pay bills and support her children.

Join The Club for more chances to win

Are you inspired by these lucky winners? The ASL offers The Club, a program where players can earn points and enter Play It Again drawings by submitting their non-winning tickets. With over 339,000 members, The Club is a great way to extend the life of your lottery tickets and potentially win big. Sign up at MyArkansasLottery.com or download the AR Lottery + Club app.

More than games

Since 2009, the ASL has raised over $1.3 billion for scholarships, benefiting countless Arkansas students. These scholarships have helped Arkansans achieve their educational goals and build brighter futures. Those funds are on top of awarding over $4.9 billion in prizes to players, $409 million in retailer commissions, and generating more than $175 million in state and federal tax revenue.

Play the ASL responsibly, and good luck!
