Somewhere in Louisiana, a Powerball ticket worth six figures is hiding in plain sight. It could be stuffed in a wallet, tucked in a junk drawer, or forgotten in the pocket of last summer's jeans. Wherever it is, the clock is ticking, and the mystery winner has just months left to claim their fortune.

Powerball winning ticket remains unclaimed

If you happened to buy a Powerball ticket in Terrytown, Louisiana, you may want to pay attention to this one. A ticket that was purchased at Mike Express, located at 2138 Stumpf Boulevard in Terrytown, won $150,000, but no one has come forward to claim it.

The winning ticket was for the July 23, 2025, Powerball drawing. The winning white ball numbers for that draw were 2, 18, 19, 25, and 35, and the Powerball number was 25. The Power Play was 3X.

This winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000. However, they added on the Power Play option for $1 more, so their win was tripled because of the 3X to $150,000.

According to the Louisiana Lottery, players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their ticket at the state lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge. That means this ticket will expire on January 19, 2026.

This isn't the only unclaimed ticket still out there in Louisiana. In addition to the Powerball ticket mentioned above, these other tickets remain unclaimed:

The winning white ball numbers for that draw were 3, 16, 29, 61, and 69, and the Powerball number was 22. The ticket is set to expire on March 2, 2026, if unclaimed.
  • $50,000 Powerball ticket – Winning ticket purchased at Hoppin Harley Food Mart, located at 48012 Highway 1065 in Tickfaw, for the September 6, 2025, drawing. The winning white ball numbers for that draw were 11, 23, 44, 61, and 62, and the Powerball number was 17. The ticket is set to expire on March 5, 2026, if unclaimed.
  • $5,000 Mega Millions ticket – Winning ticket purchased at Murphy USA #7217, located at 8001A West Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette, for the September 16, 2025, drawing. The winning white ball numbers for that draw were 10, 14, 34, 40, and 43, and the Mega Ball was 5. The ticket is set to expire on March 15, 2026, if unclaimed.

If these tickets go unclaimed, the money is transferred to the state lottery's unclaimed prize fund, which is returned to players in the form of increased payouts on scratch-off tickets, second-chance drawings, and other player promotions.
