Imagine the surprise! Someone in Montgomery County just became a millionaire after their Match 6 ticket matched all six winning numbers in the Tuesday, June 4th drawing. That lucky ticket is worth a whopping $1.9 million (minus withholding taxes).

Cheers to Pat's Beverage! They should be celebrating, too, as the Pottstown store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Hold onto your tickets! Winners aren't officially known until they claim their prize and the ticket is validated. You have one year from the drawing date to claim your Match 6 fortune.

Don't forget – if you purchased your winning ticket at a retailer, be sure to sign the back immediately to solidify your claim. Winners who buy online will see their prize automatically credited to their account after the claim is processed.

More winners and how to join the Match 6 fun

The good news doesn't stop there! Over 50,600 other Match 6 tickets won prizes in the Tuesday drawing. This is a great reminder to check all your tickets every single time you play.

Thinking about trying your luck? Here's how Match 6 works:

  • Tickets are a steal – they only cost $2 each.
  • You can choose your own six lucky numbers from 1 to 49 or opt for the "Quick Pick" option and let the computer randomly select your numbers.
  • Here's a bonus – the system will also generate two additional sets of numbers for you, giving you a total of 18 numbers in play for each ticket!
  • That means you have up to four chances to win on each ticket: by matching numbers on any of the three lines (base play) or by miraculously matching all 18 numbers (combined play).
  • Want to play every day? No problem! Drawings are held every evening.
  • And if you're feeling particularly lucky, you can buy tickets up to 26 draws in advance.

This year has already been lucky for Match 6 players in Pennsylvania! Before Montgomery County's big win, a Wayne County ticket holder took home a $2.5 million jackpot in May, and a Berks County resident won over $1 million in March.

Winners all around

The Pennsylvania Lottery continues to be a win-win for everyone involved. Players have the chance to strike it rich, while all proceeds from ticket sales go towards important programs benefiting Pennsylvania's older residents. So, whether you're looking for a chance to change your life or simply want to support a worthy cause, the Pennsylvania Lottery offers a fun and exciting way to participate.
