As a key and high-performing revenue producer, it is a major contributor to the U.S. Virgin Islands' economy, producing more than $17 million annually. The lottery annually dedicates funds back to the territory. This includes an average contribution of $1.5 million to public schools, $1.5 million to the Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, $1 million to the GERS Retirees Bonus Program, $250,000 to the Horse Racing Commission, and $100,000 to the Office of Veterans Affairs.
