Three winning tickets for Jersey Cash 5 jackpot sold at lucky deli

New Jersey deli keeps cashing in — it hit $7M in May and now sold three winning tickets to split $422K jackpot.

If you're looking for luck in New Jersey, there's one deli in Union Township you might want to visit — and get there soon. In an unbelievable twist of fate, three separate lottery tickets sold at the same small convenience store all matched the winning numbers in a recent Jersey Cash 5 drawing. That's right: not one, not two, but three tickets, all tied to the same store, managed to split the same jackpot.

And as if that weren't already a head-scratcher, it turns out this isn't even the first time this lucky location has made someone a millionaire. Just a couple of months ago, the same shop handed out a life-changing win in another big New Jersey Lottery game.

Triple the luck?

For the Thursday, July 24, 2025, Jersey Cash 5 drawing, three separate tickets sold at the deli shop happened to match all five of the winning numbers drawn to split the $422,167 jackpot. The winning numbers for last night's drawing were 1, 4, 5, 23, and 31. The XTRA was 3 and the Bullseye was 23.

The winning tickets were all sold at the Quick Stop Deli and Grill in Union Township. For selling the lucky tickets, the lottery retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus from the state.

Other lucky winners

There were more winners in New Jersey last night, in addition to these lucky jackpot winners. Sixteen players matched four out of the five balls, the Bullseye, and the XTRA to each win $1,000.

We also saw 38 players match four out of the five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each. In addition, four players matched four out of five balls drawn and the XTRA to also win $500 each.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot now resets to $150,000 for tonight's drawing at 10:57 p.m. EST.

Lightning strikes twice in New Jersey

It looks like that Union County deli shop might be the place to buy New Jersey Lottery tickets, if you can. In addition to the three winning tickets sold in last night's Jersey Cash 5 drawing, the deli shop also sold a winning Cash 4 Life ticket just two months ago.

During the May 14 drawing, one ticket purchased at the Quick Stop Deli and Grill in Union Township matched all the winning numbers drawn that night to win the top prize of $1,000 a day for life, or $7 million when taken as a lump sum payment.

This isn't the first time that lightning struck twice at a New Jersey Lottery retailer. Back on July 1, ShopRite Liquor #781, located at 2200 Route 66 in Neptune, sold a Jersey Cash 5 jackpot-winning ticket worth $442,000.

This ShopRite in Neptune also happened to be the same store that sold the $1.13B winning Mega Millions ticket in 2024. So, lightning definitely seems to strike twice in The Garden State.

Enjoy playing the New Jersey Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
