Oklahoma Lottery players may soon be able to spend less time standing in line and more time enjoying their wins. A new partnership between the Oklahoma Lottery and Pollard Banknote Limited will bring some changes to how players interact with the lottery, including how they claim prizes.
The Oklahoma Lottery Commission has selected Pollard Banknote to deliver a turnkey loyalty solution and other electronic enhancements aimed at improving player engagement. This new contract started on November 24, 2025, and includes an initial one-year term with six one-year renewal options. If fully exercised, it could be worth approximately $10 million.
Changes to the Players Club loyalty program
One of the big changes coming with this new contract is the launch of a new Players Club loyalty program. It will be designed to reward players for continued participation while also creating a more personalized experience.
This new Players Club will be powered by Pollard Banknote's playON Player Engagement Solution. In addition, players will see a redesign of the Oklahoma Lottery website and new mobile apps. All of this could mean easier access to promotions, account tracking, and exclusive offers, but all in one place.
According to lottery officials, this new platform will allow them to better understand how players engage with different games and tailor experiences accordingly. All of this, while still promoting responsible play.
Jay Finks, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission, stated:
We're excited to partner with Pollard Banknote and to usher in a new era of digital engagement for our players. Their deep expertise that leverages the most modern technology in the industry will deliver a best-in-class experience and enhance the Lottery's digital presence.
A faster way to cash winning tickets
One of the most anticipated features for players is the addition of mobile claims and mobile cashing.
Right now, Oklahoma Lottery players must visit a lottery retailer or claims center to redeem any winning tickets, even for the small wins. With this new system, players may eventually be able to scan their winning ticket using their phone and claim eligible prizes digitally.
For players, this could mean:
- Faster access to winnings.
- Fewer in-person trips for smaller prizes.
- A more convenient experience with the lottery.
They have not released any details on payout limits or when this new function will be released. However, the inclusion of mobile cashing shows a big shift toward convenience, especially for those players who regularly win smaller amounts.
What does this mean for Oklahoma education?
The first Oklahoma Lottery ticket was sold in 2005. Since then, they have raised over $1.4 billion for education. In FY 2025, the Oklahoma Lottery generated over $305 million in sales and gave over $72 million to education programs statewide.
By modernizing the player experience, lottery officials said it could help sustain and grow this support by keeping players engaged in a competitive entertainment landscape.
For players, these changes suggest a simpler, more modern way to play. Soon, they will also be able to enjoy a much easier way to get paid when luck strikes.
Enjoy playing the Oklahoma Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
