Labor Day wasn't just about barbecues and beach trips this year; it also turned into a jackpot bonanza for Cash 5 players in three different states. While Powerball and Mega Millions often steal the spotlight with their massive prizes, the first day of September proved that local draw games can pack plenty of punch, too.

From the Garden State to the Tar Heel State and all the way to Pennsylvania, players were matching all five numbers and walking away with six-figure jackpots. It was a night that reminded lottery fans everywhere that sometimes the best wins come close to home.

Another Jersey Cash 5 jackpot win

The Jersey Cash 5 draw game had another jackpot winner for 2025 on Labor Day. This happened to be the 45th jackpot won for the year for the in-state draw game.

For the Monday, September 1, 2025, drawing, the winning numbers were 7, 9, 11, 44, and 45. The XTRA was 3 and the BULLSEYE was 44. The jackpot was $349,234.

With this win, the jackpot now resets to $150,000 for tonight's drawing.

The last jackpot win for the Jersey Cash 5 draw game took place on August 28, 2025. One lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn that night to win the $762,724 jackpot.

The biggest win comes from North Carolina

The biggest Cash 5 win of the night happened to come from the North Carolina Lottery. One lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn on Labor Day 2025 to win the Carolina Cash 5 jackpot.

The winning numbers for the September 1, 2025, drawing were 1, 10, 22, 30, and 43.

One lucky ticket purchased online matched all of the winning numbers to win the $875,300 jackpot. The last jackpot win took place on August 17, 2025, when one lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn that night to win the $130,000 jackpot.

Pennsylvania Lottery delivers another Cash 5 win

The winning continued for Cash 5 players across the country. This time it was from the Pennsylvania Lottery, as one lucky player matched all the winning numbers for the Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot.

The winning numbers for the September 1, 2025, drawing were 2, 3, 5, 9, and 33, and one lucky ticket matched all five of the winning numbers drawn to win the $759,513 jackpot. The lucky ticket was sold at GIANT Food Stores, 3175 Cape Horn Road, Windsor Township. The retailer earned a $5,000 bonus for having sold the jackpot-winning ticket.

The last jackpot win for Cash 5 players in Pennsylvania took place on August 22, 2025, when one lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn that night to win the $400,000 jackpot.

Not the first time

This isn't the first time we have seen multiple Cash 5 jackpots won at the same time. Back in July, we had almost $4 million in winnings when players in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, once again, had three jackpot winners over a summer weekend.

Two of the winners split a $1.14 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. The other winner was able to snag the $2.77 million Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot in Pennsylvania.

Three states, three jackpots, and all with the Cash 5 draw game. The buzz may be all about Powerball right now, but these in-state draw games are paying out, too.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
