It's National Lottery Week, and the jackpots are already showing up to the party. From Pennsylvania to New Jersey, lucky players are cashing in on millions just as the annual celebration of lotteries kicks off.

One ticket turned a gas station stop into a multimillion-dollar moment, while another jackpot was split between two players in separate counties. So, who's winning big and where did lightning strike this time?

Big jackpot win in Pennsylvania

The weekend started strong in Pennsylvania, as a jackpot-winning ticket was sold on Friday, July 11, for the Cash 5 with Quick Cash draw game from the Pennsylvania State Lottery. The winning ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn to win the $2.77 million jackpot.

The winning numbers for that July 11 drawing were 11, 13, 19, 31, and 41. The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz, located at 5346 Greenvillage Road in Chambersburg.

For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, this lucky lottery retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the state lottery.

If you happen to be holding this jackpot-winning ticket, then you have one year from the date of the drawing to claim your prize. You should contact the nearest lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.

36th jackpot win of 2025 in New Jersey

Meanwhile, over in New Jersey, two lucky New Jersey Lottery players — one in Ocean County and one in Bergen County — matched all five of the winning numbers on Sunday, July 13, to split the $1.14 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.

The winning numbers for the July 13 drawing were 4, 5, 6, 29, and 34. The XTRA was 3 and the Bullseye was 4.

This happened to be the 36th jackpot win of 2025 for Jersey Cash 5 players. With this split win, each player will get $571,000, lottery officials said.

The Ocean County ticket was purchased at Acme Markets, located at 425 Route 9 South in Little Egg Harbor. The Bergen County ticket was purchased at The Country Store, located at 729 Rivervale Road in Rivervale. Each of these lucky lottery retailers will receive a $2,000 bonus from the state lottery for selling the winning tickets.

The jackpot has now been reset to its base of $150,000 for tonight's drawing.

National Lottery Week

This week happens to kick off National Lottery Week across the country. National Lottery Week is a celebration of lotteries across the United States and Canada and acknowledges all of their collective contributions to the communities they serve.

Lottery Week was created from an idea implemented by the Massachusetts Lottery in 2018. At that time, July 17 was declared National Lottery Day. Now, players and retailers are often offered special lottery promotions during this week of celebration.

In Pennsylvania, the week is all about celebrating big wins for players and the billions of dollars in funding that have been provided to Pennsylvania seniors since the Commonwealth's lottery was established in 1971.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
