Racing fans, listen up! The Texas Lottery announced they are joining forces with Texas Motor Speedway yet again and some lucky lottery players will get a chance to get behind the wheel in a unique driving experience.

New scratch ticket from Texas Lottery

On Sunday, March 24, representatives from both the Texas Lottery and Texas Motor Speedway spoke at a press conference, introducing the new scratch ticket game and the prizes for a new second-chance drawing.

The new $5 scratch ticket game is called LUCKY 7s and gives players a chance to win a $100,000 top prize. Any players with non-winning tickets can enter them into a series of promotional second-chance drawings. These drawings will give players a chance to win exclusive Texas Motor Speedway prizes, including an Ultimate Driving Experience.

Ryan Mindell, deputy executive director of the Texas Lottery, said:

Texas Motor Speedway has been a valuable partner of the Texas Lottery since 2015, and we're excited to collaborate with them on the new LUCKY 7s scratch ticket game and promotional second-chance drawings.

While the representatives discussed the new ticket and new promotions on March 24, the ticket actually launched on Monday, March 18, and is available at Texas Lottery retailers, where you can purchase scratch tickets.

The game will pay out more than $23 million in total cash prizes, including six top prizes of $100,000. If you happened to buy a ticket and it wasn't a winner, you can enter it into any of the four promotional second-chance drawings to be held throughout the run of the game. These drawings will give players the chance to win one-of-a-kind Texas Motor Speedway merchandise prize packs and experiential prizes.

The second-chance drawings

The promotion will offer four second-chance drawings. At those drawings, 250 Texas Motor Speedway Merchandise Prize Packs and one VIP Suite Experience package will be handed out.

Then, in one final Special Drawing, one player will be picked from all entries received from the first four drawings, including those that won during the first four drawings, to win an Ultimate Driving Experience.

This grand prize features a day at the track for the winner and 15 guests. They will get the opportunity to attend a world-class driving experience taught by professional drivers. They will also get the chance to drive luxury, exotic cars of their choice right on the Texas Motor Speedway track.

In addition, the winner will get a meet and greet with a professional driver, a private lunch on site, a video keepsake of the experience, and four hotel rooms for one night.

Entry deadlines

The Texas Lottery has announced the entry deadlines for the first three second-chance drawings — April 26, May 31, and July 5. The deadlines for the fourth drawing and the Special Drawing have yet to be determined.

In a statement, Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President & General Manager Mark Faber said:

The new Lucky 7 scratch ticket game is a fun and thrilling way to promote our decade of partnership to both Texas Motor Speedway race fans and Texas Lottery players.

Enjoy playing the Texas Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
