If you are a California resident and you recently purchased a SuperLotto Plus ticket, you may be holding a jackpot prize winner.

The winning ticket was sold at the Y & Y Market corner store on West 39th Street in the South-Central neighborhood. It is worth the top prize of $20 million. The lucky jackpot winner had a one in over 41 million chance of winning,

The winning numbers for this ticket from the February 3 drawing are 2, 12, 18, 20, 44, and Mega number 4. Three other tickets in the same drawing all matched the first five numbers, and each one won a prize of $11,966. The three tickets were sold at:

  • The 7-Eleven store located on North Placentia Avenue in Fullerton
  • The 76 gas station located on Victory Boulevard in Woodland Hills
  • The Mobil gas station located on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles

If you have any of these winning tickets, you have 180 days to claim your winnings.

California's five biggest unclaimed lottery tickets

Over the past few years, several lottery tickets purchased in the Golden State have gone unclaimed. Whether the tickets were lost, disintegrated in the laundry, or are still lying in a drawer somewhere, we will never know.

The biggest unclaimed prize, to date, was a SuperLotto Plus ticket worth $63 million The winning ticket was sold on August 8, 2015, at a 7-Eleven in Chatsworth. The winning numbers for the August 8 drawing were 1, 16, 30, 33, and 46, with a Mega number of 24.

The next biggest unclaimed prize was from a winning SuperLotto Plus ticket worth $28.5 million. The ticket was purchased on September 10, 2003, from Kavanagh Liquors in San Lorenzo. The winning numbers for the September 10 drawing were 7, 20, 27, 34, 43, and Mega Ball number 6.

On January 8, 2000, a California resident purchased a SuperLotto Plus ticket from the 7-Eleven store located at 11656 Wilshire Blvd in West Los Angeles. The ticket was worth a prize of $25 million that was never claimed. The winning numbers for the January 8 drawing were 14, 25, 32, 46, 49, and Mega number 34.

A SuperLotto Plus prize went unclaimed in 1997. The ticket for the October 11 drawing, which was purchased at a bowling alley in Moreno Valley, was worth $20 million. The winning numbers were 4. 9, 15, 20, 34, and Mega number 44.

Another SuperLotto Plus prize of $20 went unclaimed in 1990. The ticket was purchased from a retailer located in Garden Grove. The winning numbers for the September 12 drawing were 16, 23, 26, 34, 35, and Mega number 38.

In the state of California, any unclaimed SuperLotto Plus prizes are reallocated to the state's public schools.
