This weekend's lottery games are bringing some serious excitement, with jackpots soaring across multiple states. From the $72 million jackpot for Texas Lotto to Arkansas’ record-breaking $5.04 million LOTTO jackpot, there's no shortage of opportunities to win big.

Meanwhile, Hoosier Lotto players are eyeing a $38 million prize, and California's SuperLotto Plus is getting close to $20 million. With such big amounts up for grabs, this weekend could be the lucky one for players all over the country.

Texas Lotto jackpot hits $72 million

The Texas Lotto has been on a 92-draw jackpot run, pushing it to $72 million for Saturday night's drawing. The last jackpot winner for the game came on Monday, June 24, 2024, when one ticket matched all the winning numbers to win the $29 million jackpot that night.

While this is the eighth-largest jackpot in the game's history, it does rank as the biggest lottery prize available in North America right now. With Powerball and Mega Millions jackpot wins last weekend, Lotto Texas has been pushed to the top of the leaderboard as its players anxiously wait for someone to win the top prize.

The next Texas Lotto drawing will take place on Saturday, January 25, at 10:12 p.m. CT, and ticket sales will close at 10:02 p.m. CT.

Hoosier Lotto jackpot passes $38 million

In Indiana, players have been patiently waiting for a jackpot winner to be crowned for their in-state draw game, Hoosier Lotto. The jackpot for Saturday night's drawing stands at $38.5 million.

Hoosier Lotto players are also hoping for a jackpot winner in 2025, as the draw game saw no winners in 2024. The last Hoosier Lotto jackpot win happened on December 6, 2023, when one winner matched all the winning numbers to win the estimated $44 million jackpot.

The next drawing will take place on Saturday night at 11:00 p.m. ET, with ticket sales closing at 10:39 p.m. ET.

SuperLotto Plus is closing in on $20 million

While the rest of the top of the jackpot leaderboard consists of multi-state games — Powerball at $46 million, Mega Millions at $28 million, and Lotto America at $22.41 million — we do have SuperLotto Plus in California getting close to the $20 million mark.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was recently won, with one player from Artesia matching all the winning numbers during the December 11, 2024, drawing to win the $47 million jackpot. However, it has been growing ever since and currently stands at $19 million for Saturday night's drawing.

Will the first SuperLotto Plus jackpot win of 2025 come this weekend? We will find out as the drawing takes place on Saturday night at 7:45 p.m. PT, with ticket sales closing at the same time.

Making history in Arkansas

While there are other state jackpots that are bigger, we have a long jackpot drought happening in Arkansas. The in-state exclusive LOTTO draw game launched in 2022 and has seen only two jackpot winners since that debut.

The first jackpot win came on April 29, 2023, when one lucky player from Sebastian County matched all of the winning numbers to win the $2.34 million jackpot. Then, on September 13, 2023, the game's second winner was crowned. One lucky ticket from Little Rock matched all the winning numbers to win the $999,000 jackpot.

And there have been no jackpot winners since. The LOTTO jackpot has now grown to $5.04 million, the largest ever for the game. LOTTO players are hoping the third jackpot winner is crowned this weekend, with the next drawing taking place on Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. CT and ticket sales closing at 8:59 p.m. CT.

Enjoy playing the lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
