The holiday season got a little better for one lucky ticketholder in California. The Wednesday, December 11, 2024, SuperLotto Plus drawing turned one player into an instant millionaire after they won the massive $47 million jackpot.

If you happened to buy a ticket in last night’s drawing, you could be the one celebrating this life-changing win — especially if you purchased it in Artesia. Find out where the winning ticket was sold and how to claim your prize.

The winning ticket

Heading into last night, the SuperLotto Plus jackpot had grown to $47 million. The winning numbers for the December 11, 2024, drawing were 11, 19, 24, 38, and 41, with the Mega number being 26.

One lucky ticket matched all of the numbers drawn to win the $47 million jackpot. That lucky ticket was purchased at Fresh Catch Seafood Market, located at 11618 South St. in Artesia.

How to claim your winnings

Do you happen to be holding onto this jackpot-winning ticket? If so, you have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim your prize.

To do so, you will need to download a claim form, which can be found here. The fastest way to claim your prize is to bring that claim form with you to one of the lottery’s district office, which are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. No appointments are required and assistance is on a first-come first-serve basis.

However, the California Lottery Headquarters will not be processing claims from Monday, December 16, 2024, to January 2, 2025, for end-of-year accounting purposes.

You can also claim by mail. To do so, mail the original ticket and signed claim form, along with the Claim Authorization Receipt from a retailer (if you have it), to California State Lottery, 730 North 10th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811. Make sure the envelope is postmarked within 180 days of the drawing date.

How does this jackpot stack up?

For 2024, this is only the third jackpot won. The other previous SuperLotto Plus jackpot wins in 2024 were:

  • $54 million – The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Woodland for the July 20, 2024, drawing.
  • $20 million – The winning ticket was purchased at Y & Y Market in Los Angeles for the February 3, 2024, drawing.

SuperLotto Plus got its start in 1986 as Lotto 6/49. It then changed to SuperLotto in the 1990s before the name was changed to SuperLotto Plus in 2000. The biggest jackpot ever for this California draw game was $193 million back in 2002.

Biggest jackpots now up for grabs

Before last night’s drawing, the $47 million jackpot was one of the biggest jackpots available to players. Now that it has been won, lets look at the biggest jackpots currently available during this holiday season:
