Someone in New Jersey just had their financial future secured!

A lucky ticket holder from Whippany, Morris County, matched the five winning numbers in the Thursday, April 25th Cash4Life drawing, winning the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life.

New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said:

We're excited to award this lucky player with a $1,000 a week for life prize, and can't wait to hear how this will benefit them in the years to come.

The winning numbers for the April 25th drawing were: 3, 7, 39, 49, and 58. The Cash Ball number was 1.

Thinking of trying your luck? Here's what you need to know about Cash4Life:

  • How to play: Pick five numbers between 1 and 60 and a Cash Ball number between 1 and 4. Drawings are held every night at 9:00 pm. Tickets must be purchased before 8:46 pm for that night's drawing.
  • Double your winnings: Add DOUBLER for an extra $1 per play to multiply your non-lifetime prizes by two!
  • How to fill out a play slip:
    • Each play costs $2.00.
    • Mark your five chosen numbers and the Cash Ball number.
    • For random selection, ask the retailer for a "Quick Pick" or mark the "Quick Pick" circle on the slip.
    • Choose between an annuity or a lump sum payout for the top two prizes.
    • Mark the DOUBLER circle to double your non-lifetime prizes (optional).
    • Select the number of drawings you want to play (up to 28) (optional).
    • Hand your completed slip to the retailer.

Remember: Protect your ticket's barcode! A damaged barcode can delay claiming your prize.
