If you live in Pennsylvania and happened to buy a Match 6 ticket for the March 29 drawing, then you better check that ticket. We have a jackpot winner, and it could be you if you bought it in Berks County!

The jackpot-winning Match 6 ticket

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a jackpot-winning ticket worth $1.07 million for the Friday, March 29 drawing was sold in Berks County.

For that March 29 drawing, the six winning numbers were 1, 5, 8, 11, 13, and 28. The jackpot-winning ticket matched all six of the numbers to win the $1.07 million jackpot prize.

The winning ticket was sold at Rite Aid, located at 4630 Perkiomen Avenue in Reading. For selling the winning ticket, that Rite Aid location will receive a $10,000 bonus.

For the March 29 drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced that more than 53,300 other Match 6 tickets also won prizes. The lottery is reminding players to check every ticket every time.

The lucky winner — claiming your prize

The Pennsylvania Lottery will not know the winner of this jackpot until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

If you are holding the winning ticket, then you should sign the back of the ticket immediately. For any tickets purchased online, the winnings will automatically appear in a player's account after the claim has been processed.

Match 6 — how does it work?

Match 6 is a draw game in the Pennsylvania Lottery held every night at 6:59 p.m. ET. To play, you need to pick six numbers between 1 and 49, or players can use the Quick Pick option and random numbers are selected for you.

For each line of six numbers you select or have selected for you, two additional lines of six numbers are automatically generated, so a total of 18 numbers. Players can choose to play up to 26 consecutive draws in advance.

There are four prize categories for the base play, which range from $2 for matching three numbers up to the jackpot for matching all six numbers. The jackpot starts at $500,000 and grows until it's won.

There are seven prize categories for combined play. These prizes are based on the number of matches across all 18 numbers on your ticket. The range is from $2 for matching four numbers up to $2,500 for matching 10 or more numbers.

Players are allowed to win a prize once in the base play, plus an additional prize in the combined play. If you happen to win on more than one line in the base pay, you can only receive the highest prize. These prizes won are always paid out at one time as a lump sum, not annually.

Enjoy playing the Pennsylvania Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
