Lotto 47 reaches 7th-largest jackpot in Michigan history at $14.9M

On May 15, 2005, the Michigan Lottery introduced the Lotto 47. This in-state draw game replaced the previous Winfall draw game, and the first drawing was held on May 18, 2005.

Since that time, there have been over 2,000 jackpot winners ranging from $1 million up to the highest jackpot ever won for Lotto 47, which is $32.3 million.

This current jackpot run is setting records for Michigan Lottery players. The jackpot currently stands at an estimated $14.9 million for the Wednesday, October 15, 2025, drawing.

This happens to be the seventh-largest jackpot ever for the in-state draw game.

Months without a jackpot winner

The Lotto 47 game last saw a jackpot winner during the April 23, 2025, drawing. At that time, one lucky player in Kalamazoo matched all six of the winning numbers drawn to win the $5.46 million jackpot.

The jackpot then reset to $1 million for the April 26, 2025, drawing. Since that time, we have not seen a jackpot winner, and the jackpot has now grown to $14.9 million.

This current jackpot run includes 49 drawings without a jackpot winner. Could the 50th drawing tonight bring us a winner?

Biggest Lotto 47 jackpots
