Powerball players were trying to get their hands on that $408 million jackpot during the Wednesday, October 16, drawing.

While no one won the jackpot, four Powerball players won $1 million during last night's drawing, so find out where the lucky winners came from below!

Powerball winning numbers

For the October 16 Powerball drawing, the winning white ball numbers were 4, 30, 39, 44, and 60, and the Powerball number was 11 with the Power Play being 2X.

The Powerball jackpot had climbed to $408 million, with a lump sum cash value of $196 million. However, no tickets purchased matched all six of the winning numbers to take home that jackpot.

With no jackpot winner, the Powerball jackpot now stands at $437 million for the Saturday, October 19, drawing. The lump sum cash value stands at $210.3 million.

Four $1 million winners

While we aren't celebrating any jackpot winners from last night's drawing, four lucky players did find themselves matching all five of the winning white ball numbers to claim the second-tier prize of $1 million.

One of the winning tickets was sold in California, another was sold in Washington, and two of the winning tickets were sold in Illinois. If you happened to purchase any Powerball tickets from those states, make sure you check them soon because you could be holding onto $1 million right now.

When are the Powerball drawings held?

For the Powerball drawings, they are held live at 10:59 p.m. ET every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The next drawing will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Each Powerball ticket costs $2 per play, and the game is sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
