Talk about perfect timing for a big lottery win, right?

The winning ticket

A 59-year-old man from Galena, Maryland, is celebrating after winning the Multi-Win Lotto jackpot. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he's been playing the Delaware Lottery for two years now, and he uses Quick Pick to select his numbers.

It worked, as he matched all six numbers for the July 13, 2024, drawing. The winning numbers for that drawing were 1, 3, 13, 17, 22, and 27. For matching all six numbers, he won a $148,000 prize.

The lucky winner bought the winning ticket from Shore Stop #263, located at 308 W. Main Street in Middletown.

Perfect timing

The winner discovered his win via his phone. He then went to share the amazing news with his wife.

The win couldn't have come at a better time, as his daughter is getting married soon. Now he can use part of his winnings to help pay for the wedding. He also is planning on paying off all his bills.

In addition to the MULTI-WIN LOTTO win, he also happened to buy two Instant Games in the lobby while waiting for his check on July 15. Turns out, he won an additional $300! Even more money to use for the wedding or bills.

We are thrilled to congratulate our latest MULTI-WIN LOTTO® winner," said Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery. "It's heartwarming to hear how the winnings will make a significant impact on his life and help his family celebrate such a special occasion.

Big blowout win

Another lucky Delaware Lottery player was feeling joy after taking home the first $300,000 top prize playing MEGA BUCKS BLOWOUT.

The 68-year-old man, who chose to remain anonymous, is from Clayton, and he purchased the winning ticket from Felton Goose Creek, located at 11452 S. Dupont Hwy. in Felton.

The winner told lottery officials that he has been playing the Delaware Lottery for 20 years now, and he usually likes to purchase three tickets at a time. After scratching these tickets and realizing that he won, he immediately shared the exciting news with his friends.

Another perfect timing win

The timing works out perfectly for the Delaware Lottery winners! The timing was perfect for this MEGA BUCKS BLOWOUT winner also, as the win will allow him to afford some medical procedures he's been waiting to get. After paying for that, he said he plans on paying down some bills, purchasing a much-needed truck for work, and then putting the rest into savings for one of those rainy days.

Helene Keeley, Director of the Delaware Lottery, said:

We are thrilled to congratulate our latest $300,000 MEGA BUCKS BLOWOUT winner. It's always rewarding to see our players experience such joy and to know that their winnings will significantly impact their lives.

After his big win, the state lottery announced there are still two top prizes of $300,000 remaining for the MEGA BUCKS BLOWOUT instant game.

Enjoy playing the Delaware Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
