After months of anticipation and a jackpot that just kept climbing, one lucky Arkansas player has finally struck gold — bagging a record-breaking $5.12 million prize in the state's exclusive LOTTO game. It's only the third time someone has hit the jackpot since the game launched, making this win even more historic.

While one player is celebrating a life-changing payday, thousands of others walked away with prizes after the latest draw. Are you holding onto the winning ticket?

The record-breaking jackpot win

After months of growing, one lucky player matched all six of the winning numbers for the Saturday, February 1, LOTTO drawing to win the $5.12 million jackpot.

The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 1, 6, 7, 19, 27, and 40, with the bonus number of 14.

In addition to the big jackpot winner, lottery officials said 13 lucky players received $500 or more in prizes from the February 1 LOTTO drawing. There were also almost 3,800 other players that won prizes ranging from $2 to $25.

Record-breaking win for Lotto.com

In addition to this being the biggest LOTTO jackpot win in Arkansas history, it also helped Lotto.com break some records too. The lucky winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket using Lotto.com, the nation's first online platform to digitally deliver official state lottery draw games.

The $5.12 million LOTTO jackpot win happened to be the largest jackpot won in the platform's history. So, this jackpot win was breaking records all over the place.

Third LOTTO jackpot win

The LOTTO game was launched in September 2022 by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. The draw game is played and won exclusively in Arkansas. With this win on Saturday, they became just the third jackpot winner in the game's history.

The first LOTTO jackpot win came on April 29, 2023, with one lucky player from Sebastian County matching all of the winning numbers to win the $2.34 million jackpot. The game's second jackpot win came on September 13, 2023. At that time, one lucky ticket from Little Rock matched all of the winning numbers drawn to win the $999,000 jackpot.

Ever since then, the LOTTO jackpot has been increasing and made its way to a record-high $5.12 million.

The LOTTO jackpot now resets to $250,000 after the big jackpot win. Drawings are held at 9:00 p.m. CT on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets are $2 per play.

Another big in-state winner

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has seen some good wins recently from their in-state draw games. One of those winners recently made their way to the ASL Claim Center to get their winnings.

Pulaski County resident Keith S. hit big playing Natural State Jackpot. He matched all the winning numbers during the December 22, 2024, drawing to win the $460,000 jackpot.

The winning numbers from that drawing were 16, 26, 30, 31, and 33. He bought the winning Quick Pick ticket from Casey's #4680, located at 8903 White Oak Crossing in Maumelle.

Keith is a daily lottery player and told lottery officials he likes to buy tickets from all around the state. He said he “plays to win,” preferring to play in-state games for better odds.

The odds worked out for him, as he won the big jackpot. He told lottery officials, “I didn't say anything to anyone. I went home to check my numbers on the lottery's website.”

Once he figured it out, he then woke his sleeping wife to share the good news with her. Now that he has the money in hand, Keith said he plans on saving for retirement, investing, and sharing some of his wealth with his children.

Enjoy playing the Arkansas Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
