Someone in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, just became a half-million dollar richer thanks to the Pennsylvania Lottery's Cash 5 with Quick Cash.

The lucky winner matched all five numbers drawn on Sunday, May 26th, taking home an impressive $525,249 (less withholding). Campbell's Service Center in North Huntingdon gets to celebrate, too, earning a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Is it you? How to claim your Cash 5 prize

Hold your breath and check your tickets! Winners can only be identified after prizes are validated. Don't miss out on your chance to claim your fortune. You have one year from the drawing date to claim your Cash 5 prize and one year from the purchase date for any Quick Cash prizes. If you think you might be the lucky winner, head to your nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 as soon as possible.

May makes millions! A look back at Pennsylvania's Cash 5 winners

Westmoreland County wasn't the only place celebrating big wins this month. Here's a recap of Pennsylvania's lucky Cash 5 players in May:

  • May 20th: Beaver County saw a jackpot win of $469,431.50.
  • May 13th: Philadelphia had a lucky winner claim $250,000.
  • May 8th: The biggest win of the month was another Westmoreland County resident, taking home $2.6 million.

Feeling inspired? Here's how you can play Cash 5 with Quick Cash and maybe become the next big winner:

  • Pick your numbers: Choose five lucky numbers between 1 and 43. You can pick them yourself or opt for a quick pick with computer-generated numbers.
  • Hit the jackpot: Match all five drawn numbers to win the big prize.
  • Win smaller prizes, too: Don't despair if you don't hit the jackpot! You can also win prizes for matching two, three, or four numbers.
  • Double the fun with Quick Cash: Every $2 ticket includes an instant win Quick Cash game. Match any of your numbers to the winning numbers on your ticket to win $2 or $6. It's a separate chance to win on the same ticket!

Play Cash 5 with Quick Cash and support the greater good

When you play the Pennsylvania Lottery, you're not just playing for yourself. All proceeds contribute to programs that benefit older adults in the state. Since 1972, the Pennsylvania Lottery has contributed over $35.1 billion to help with property taxes, rent rebates, transportation, and more. You can play for a chance to win big and feel good knowing you're also supporting a worthy cause.
