Recheck your lottery tickets because time is running out. A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket purchased in July is due to expire on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

The ticket matched four of the five winning white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers drawn on Monday, July 17, 2023, were 5, 8, 9, 17, 41, and Powerball number 21. It was purchased from GetGo #7517, located at 920 West 38th St. in Anderson, Indiana.

All Hoosier Lottery Draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. If you have the winning ticket, you have until 4:30 p.m. ET on January 16, 2024, to claim it at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.

Unclaimed Powerball tickets

The $50,000 Hoosier Lottery ticket is not the only unclaimed winning Powerball ticket. Here is a rundown of some other unclaimed winners that are due to expire in the coming months.

  • Delaware: This Match 4 plus Powerball ticket was drawn on January 9, 2023. It was purchased at Food Lion #2224, located at 22954 Sussex Highway, Seaford. It will expire on January 9, 2024. The prize is $50,000. The winning numbers are 18, 43, 48, 60, 69, and Powerball number 14.
  • Missouri: This Match 4 plus Powerball was drawn on July 15, 2023. It was purchased at Schnucks Market, 6083 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters. It will expire on January 11, 2024. The prize is $50,000. The winning numbers are 2, 9, 43, 55, 57, and Powerball number 18.
  • Colorado: This Match 4 plus Powerball with Power Play was drawn on July 19, 2023. It was purchased at 7-Eleven #27067b, 3990 E 35th Avenue, Denver. It will expire on January 15, 2024. The prize is $100,000. The winning numbers are 7, 10, 11, 13, 24, and Powerball number 24.
  • Colorado: This Match 4 plus Powerball was drawn on August 5, 2023. It was purchased at City Market #430 Fuel Center, 440 N Park Ave, Breckenridge. It will expire on February 1, 2024. The prize is $50,000. The winning numbers are 18, 42, 44, 62, 65, and Powerball number 23.
  • Louisiana: This Match 4 plus Powerball with Power Play was drawn on August 14, 2023. It was purchased at Murphy Express #8510, 32336 La Hwy 16, Denham Springs. It will expire on February 10, 2024. The prize is $100,000. The winning numbers are 32, 34, 37, 39, 47 and Powerball number 3.
  • Nebraska: This Match 4 plus Powerball was drawn on September 27, 2023. It was purchased at Pump & Pantry #6. 3355 W Stolley Park Rd, Grand Island. It will expire on March 25, 2024. The prize is $50,000. The winning numbers are 1, 7, 46, 47, 63, and Powerball number 7.
  • Missouri: This Match 4 plus Powerball was drawn on September 30, 2023. It was purchased at QuikTrip, 4380 N.W. 90th St., Kansas City. It will expire on March 28, 2024. The prize is $50,000. The winning numbers are 19, 30, 37, 44, 46, and Powerball number 22.

If a Powerball ticket remains unclaimed after the expiration date, the prize's cash value is returned to the state lotteries in proportion to their ticket sales.
