About Tens
A ten is a group of numbers with the same first digit, or no digit for numbers less than 10. For example, 31, 34, and 37 are in the 30 - 39 ten.
A ten pattern shows how many tens appeared in a single draw and how many numbers were in each ten. For example, a pattern of 2-2-1 describes a draw comprising of two numbers in one ten, another two numbers in another ten, and one number in yet another ten, such as 26, 28, 40, 47, and 53.
