There's a new multi-millionaire in Michigan. One lucky player snagged the $4.57 million Lotto 47 jackpot on Saturday night.

The winning ticket, purchased online at the Michigan Lottery website, matched all six numbers drawn: 3-8-27-34-40-43. This marks the fourth Lotto 47 jackpot win of 2024.

The winner should claim their prize by contacting the Michigan Lottery's Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment. Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.

Michigan Lottery celebrates ten years of online sales

This August marks a special milestone for the Michigan Lottery – 10 years of online sales.

Since launching in 2014, the online platform has become a game-changer, offering Michiganders a chance to win big while supporting public education.

Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli said:

The Michigan Lottery's industry-leading online Lottery platform has become the standard bearer for online lottery programs in North America. The Lottery's online portfolio features entertaining instant games and draw-based games that give Michiganders a chance to win multi-million-dollar jackpots.

Here's a look at the impact:

  • Over $10.5 billion in prizes: Players have won an incredible amount playing online instant and draw games.
  • Record-breaking jackpot: A Wayne County resident won a record-setting $7.19 million Lotto 47 jackpot online in May 2024.
  • School Aid Fund contributions: The iLottery platform has contributed over $1.3 billion to the state's School Aid Fund, supporting public schools in Michigan.

To celebrate this milestone, the Michigan Lottery will be taking a trip down memory lane by highlighting historic online games. Look for special badges on select games throughout the month. The Michigan Lottery will also be spotlighting some of the biggest winners and most exciting milestones from the past decade of online lottery.

Shkreli said:

Our team is focused on providing players with innovative games and responsible play resources, and I am looking forward to Michigan continuing to set the bar in the online Lottery space.
