Michigan Lottery players looking for a bigger scratch-off experience now have a new option, but it does come with a $50 price tag. Lottery officials announced they have launched their new Ultimate $6,000,000 Blowout! Instant game on September 29, 2026. This new game gives players 50 chances to win on every ticket. Prizes for this new game range from $50 all the way up to the top prize of $6 million. There will be three top prizes available when the game launches, and over $290 million in total prizes up for grabs. That's a lot of money packed into one scratch-off game, but it's also one of the more expensive ways to play.

What do players get for $50?

At $50 per ticket, the Ultimate $6,000,000 Blowout! scratch-off isn't going to be an impulse buy for every lottery player. However, the higher price does come with more chances to win on a single ticket.

Each ticket features 50 separate chances to win a prize. Beyond the three $6 million top prizes available, the Michigan Lottery says the game includes over $230 million in prizes ranging from $100 to $900. That means a big portion of the game’s prize pool isn’t tied up solely in the headline-grabbing top prizes.

Ultimate $6,000,000 Blowout! tickets are available at Michigan Lottery retailers across the state.

Michigan players love their scratch-offs

The Michigan Lottery has plenty of reasons to keep rolling out these new instant games. In 2025, Michigan Lottery players won more than $1.7 billion from instant games. That goes to show you just how popular scratch-offs remain across the state.

This new game is also offering plenty of money for those lottery retailers across the state. There is over $29 million in commissions available to stores selling Ultimate $6,000,000 Blowout! Tickets.

Of course, the number most players will have their eyes on is $6 million. With only three top prizes available, landing one won’t be easy. However, unlike draw games, players don’t have to wait until later that night — or several days — to find out whether they won. Scratch the ticket, check the results, and the answer is right in front of you.

A bigger ticket with a bigger potential payday

The $50 price point may ultimately be the biggest question surrounding the new game. A player could buy five $10 scratch-offs or 10 $5 tickets for the same amount.

With Ultimate $6,000,000 Blowout!, it puts that entire $50 into one oversized shot at a prize reaching into the millions.

Whether players think 50 chances to win makes the $50 prize worthwhile will be up to them. For those willing to pay the higher ticket price, however, Michigan’s newest scratch-off offers something pretty straightforward: 50 chances on one ticket, over $290 million in prizes, and three chances to instantly become $6 million richer. With over $1.7 billion in winnings from instant games in Michigan last year, these tickets should have no problem selling.

Enjoy playing the Michigan Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
