A lucky ticket matched all six numbers in the Colorado Lotto+ drawing on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, securing a jackpot worth $3,071,596. The winning numbers were 7-15-17-28-30, and 31. The Plus numbers, drawn separately, were 6-16-18-25-32, and 34.

The jackpot has been rolling over since August 18 and now ranks among the larger Colorado Lotto+ prizes awarded in 2025. The jackpot winner now has the option of receiving the full prize in annual installments or taking the one-time cash value of $1,535,798.

The Colorado Lottery confirmed that no tickets matched all six Plus numbers, meaning nobody won the $250,000 prize in Wednesday's drawing, though many players won lesser prizes.

Lottery officials have not yet announced where the jackpot-winning ticket was purchased or whether the prize has been claimed. Players have 180 days from the drawing date to come forward.

How to play Colorado Lotto+

Players can enter Colorado Lotto+ by choosing six numbers between 1 and 40 using a playslip at any retailer or through a state-approved app. Colorado is one of the few states that approve online lottery courier services, so several are operational in the state.

Numbers can be self-selected or generated randomly using the Quick Pick option. Each play costs $2.

When tickets are printed, they include a random multiplier—2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x—which automatically applies to any non-jackpot prizes. For an extra $1, players may add the Plus option, which enters the same set of numbers into a second drawing with prizes of up to $250,000.

Tickets may also be purchased through Advance Play, allowing players to enter up to 13 weeks, or 39 drawings, in advance.

The odds of winning Colorado Lotto+ are 1 in 3,838,380.

How to win

Colorado Lotto+ drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at approximately 7:35 p.m., Mountain Time. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six numbers to those drawn. The top prize starts at $1 million and grows until it's claimed.

Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by the ticket's randomly assigned multiplier, giving players an extra boost on smaller wins. The Plus option offers a separate chance at prizes, including the $250,000 Plus jackpot, for those who choose to participate.

Claiming prizes

Winners have several options for claiming prizes of $600 or more:

  • Visit any of the Colorado Lottery's four claim centers with the winning ticket and a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • They may request to file online through the Lottery's official website.
  • Mail the signed winning ticket and completed Prize Claim Form to Colorado Lottery, PO BOX 7, Pueblo, CO 81002. (FedEx and UPS users may send to 225 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.) Processing may take up to two weeks.

Lottery impact in Colorado

Since its launch in 1983, the Colorado Lottery has funded parks, trails, open spaces, and recreational projects.
