Anonymous lottery player K.L. from Everett, Washington, recently won a $50,000 cash prize by playing Match 4. She has been playing the Washington Lottery's Match 4 for years. She always picks numbers to play that are personal to her in some way. In January, K.L. was looking through some dear photographs of herself and her late mother and thinking fondly of the good times they had together. Her reminiscing inspired her to use her own and her mother's birthdays for her next Match 4 numbers.
Her mother was on her mind when K.L. purchased her five weekly Match 4 tickets and played the same numbers on each of them. She was overjoyed to find that she won all five of the top prizes. The top prize for each ticket was $10,000. This gave her a total win of $50,000 win. What’s more, she won the jackpot on the day of her mother’s wedding anniversary.
When she shared her good news with her husband, he was speechless at the remarkable coincidence. K.L. plans to donate some of her money to animal charities and local non-profit organizations.
