If you play Cash4Life and live in New York, then you may want to check your tickets!

One winning ticket for Cash4Life was sold in New York. The New York Lottery announced the winning ticket was worth $1,000 a day for life and was sold for the April 17 Cash4Life drawing.

The winning ticket

The top prize-winning ticket was purchased for the April 17 drawing. The winning numbers for that draw were 10, 14, 32, 55, and 56, and the Cash Ball was 2.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sunrise Liquor Store, located at 1851 Sunrise Hwy. Unit #14 in Bay Shore. For matching all of the numbers, the ticket wins $1,000 a day for life, which is worth a guaranteed minimum of $7 million.

The winner has up to one year from the draw date to claim their prize before the ticket expires.

Cash4Life — how does it work?

Cash4Life is a multi-state draw game that takes place in 10 jurisdictions. The draws are held every night at 9:00 p.m. ET and take place in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The game can be played in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.

To play, you need to pick five numbers from 1 to 60 and a Cash Ball from 1 to 4, or you can choose the Quick Pick option and have the computer generate numbers for you. The game costs $2 per play, and for $1 extra, players in New Jersey can add the Doubler, players in Missouri can add EZ Match, and players in Tennessee can add Quick Cash.

There are nine prize categories available to win, ranging from $2 up to the top prize of $1,000 a day for life. For the top and second prize — $1,000 a week for life — winners can choose to receive annual payments for a minimum of 20 years, or they can get a one-time cash option, which is a guaranteed minimum of $7 million. The odds of winning the Cash4Life top prize are 1 in 21.8 million.

As mentioned above, the Cash4Life Doubler is available only in New Jersey. This is a multiplier that doubles all prizes except the top two prize categories. This option costs an extra $1.

For the EZ Match option, this is an instant win add-on for players in Missouri and costs an extra $1. If a player chooses this option, they will receive five EZ Match numbers printed below the Cash4Life numbers. If any of the white Cash4Life numbers match any of the EZ Match numbers, then the player instantly wins the prize amount shown next to that EZ Match number.

The Quick Cash option is only available in Tennessee and also is $1 extra. This will give players a chance to win prizes instantly by matching any of the Quick Cash numbers printed on the ticket with any of your Cash4Life numbers.

Enjoy playing the New York Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
