Players are lining up for a shot at history — will tonight's draw finally end the roll?

Jersey Cash 5 has crowned plenty of winners this year, but the game's latest jackpot is something special. With the prize rolling higher than ever before, players are watching tonight's drawing with record-breaking anticipation.

Record-breaking Jersey Cash 5 jackpot

While Jersey Cash 5 may be the state's draw game with the most winning jackpots, it's been rolling over to uncharted territory recently. The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, has climbed all the way to $3.9 million, the highest ever for the New Jersey Lottery draw game.

In 2025, there have been 51 jackpots for Jersey Cash 5 players. Nine of those jackpot wins exceeded $1 million.

However, none of those jackpot wins exceeded $3 million. In fact, there have only been three times this decade that the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has exceeded $2 million:

  • $2.4 million – October 3, 2024, winner from Monmouth County.
  • $2.09 million – May 26, 2023, split in Hudson and Mercer counties.
  • $2.03 million – January 23, 2021, winner from Hudson County.

Of all the draw games offered by the New Jersey Lottery, Jersey Cash 5 happens to have the best odds of winning a jackpot. Those are 1 in 1.2 million. New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey stated:

My favorite thing about the Jersey Cash 5 game is that we average more than one jackpot won every week. When it gets to something this high, you can just feel the excitement in the air.

Current jackpot run

The last jackpot win for Jersey Cash 5 players happened on September 21, 2025. That means we have had 15 drawings without a jackpot winner.

Speaking of that last jackpot win, it happened to be the third jackpot win in as many nights. Yes, on September 19, two players matched all the winning numbers to split the $1.23 million jackpot. The jackpot then reset to $150,000, and one lucky player in Sussex County matched all the winning numbers to win the jackpot.

It reset again to $150,000, and one lucky player in Union County matched all the winning numbers drawn to win the jackpot. The jackpot reset again to $150,000, and it's been growing ever since.

Other jackpots growing

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot isn't the only jackpot growing in New Jersey. Pick-6, another in-state draw game in New Jersey, hasn't had a jackpot winner since May 22, 2025.

That is 52 drawings without a winner, pushing the jackpot for the next drawing, which will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, to $19.1 million.

Multi-state draw games available to play in New Jersey also have some big jackpots available to win. Mega Millions is up to an estimated $547 million for tonight's drawing on October 7. Then we have the Powerball jackpot at an estimated $223 million for its next drawing, which takes place on Wednesday, October 8.

Enjoy playing the New Jersey Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
